A big struggle I have right now is finding a balance between breaking my 2 year old of her awful bossy behavior and showing her that her baby brother doesn't mean she is loved any less. It seems impossible to find a way to be a meaner mom while making time to remind her that she is loved just as much as baby brother.

Has anyone ever had trouble timing contractions? I'm definitely having them but it's hard to tell the end of one from the beginning of the next. The pain is constant just intensifies every 3 minutes or so.

Any advice on encouraging dilation? I'm aiming for a VBAC and my doctor wants me to dilate to pretty much as far as I can on my own before we induce. Pretty sure I was laboring last night. Woke up every hour in pain so bad I had to get up and hug my yoga ball with my knees on the ground rocking until it stopped. At some points I was contracting for a minute Every 2-3 minutes. A hot shower finally stopped it but now I'm just now waking up and I feel like I got run over by a semi after being beat to a pulp.
