Good morning! My dh has to go to Vegas for a work conference/training soon. My mom is coming to watch the kids so I can go with him. My question is, what should I do while he's busy? I've been to Vegas a couple of times before. I know I want to see the lights on Fremont street. I want to read a good book by the pool. And I want to window shop at all the boutiques. I have so many favorite moms here! But I will say that my favorite mom on MomLife at the moment is @oddie. She is a homeschool mom, a peaceful parent, and a good friend. It sucks that I can still see posts from people that have blocked me in the "popular posts" section. It's such a tease!

So my period completely skipped this last month. I'm sure it's just my PCOS acting up again. This used to happen all the time. But there's that little nagging voice in my head that keeps telling me to pee on a stick, but I'm too scared to actually do it! PCOS sucks!!!

I am reaching out for prayers, good vibes, and positive thoughts! I've had a good friend, Nicole, for 30 years who has lived with cystic fibrosis. She had been on the transplant list for new lungs since 2014. Last week she got her new lungs!!! The surgery went incredibly well and she hasn't had many complications. You guys I was just blocked AGAIN! This place is not like BB. I wasn't even being rude or snarky. 😞

We were having this discussion as BB closed down. I found this article that went along with it. It talks about how parents are considering homeschooling because of the recent public school violence. Thoughts?
