1132 pm March 23, 6 pounds 8 ounces and 19 inches long! Echo Elaine <3

Doc checked me at 11:06 last night, I was at 3.5cm dilated. He left the room and I told the nurses I needed to push at 1128, they told me no and I told them I could feel her head, but they didn't believe me until they looked and noticed her entire head was out! Doc rushed in, gloved up just in time to catch her as she fell out onto the bed at 1132 after two pushes. No pain medicine, and from 3.5 to baby in less than half an hour!

How long did your induction take?

Can anyone tell me about their medical labor inductions?? I'm so nervous! I'm already 2.5 cm dilated and 90% effaced, so doc thinks cervidal will kick me into labor and I shouldn't need pitocin! Any stories, good or bad???

Contractions plus super sharp pains, sorta like round ligament but higher?

Okay ladies, I've been in early labor for a FULL WEEK! Contractions every two minutes on the dot, but my cervix is stuck at 3cm! I haven't been able to keep anything down or sleep much at all if any. It's getting to the point that I'm fainting all the time and I'm so scared that'll hurt baby. I talked to the head of ob at the hospital today and he said to try castor oil. Has anyone ever had contractions bad enough that your teeth hurt through them? I really don't think the contractions are UNBEARABLE, but they've never been bad enough to cause mouth pain... It's only when I contract

Has anyone ever not noticed their water break? I've been leaking a lot of discharge lately, and since I'm in early labor I've been watching for it, but I was sitting cross legged doing some homework last night and after about half an hour I went to the bathroom, and realized my white underwear was dyed a purplish color and drenched so I changed and went to go finish homework, I looked at the blanket I was sitting on and it was drenched with a purple puddle too, I realized I had been leaking a lo...

Okay, Thursday the doc told me I'm in early labor, I was 50% effaced and 1cm dilated and contracting every two minutes. Friday morning I was only at 3cm and 75% effaced. He let me go home because I live like two minutes from the hospital. Contractions have been two minutes apart consistently since Thursday, varying in pain level. Today I have had to poop FIVE times, some of which are constipation, some diarrhea. Is this just more progress in the labor or is something wrong with me?
