30 weeks, 6 days. Went in for preterm labor, being kept overnight minimal, they got the contractions to stop and I'm no longer dilating. Got the steroid shot this morning and the second one tomorrow morning. My doctors said that now that these steroids are in her system, if I go into preterm again at or after 32 weeks they dont want to stop it and she will be able to breathe on her own. Isn't 32 weeks still to early even with the steroids though??

a little early, but if they give u. that chances go way up, and they still might keep her to make sure she is breathing right..And until she has gained enough weight to leave the hosptial.

It's early for sure, but the chances for survival at 31/32 weeks are pretty great.

I was in the hospital last week for preterm labor and they stopped the contractions and sent me home. Now a week later I'm back in here with worse contractions and they are going to stop them again and send me home. I really want to deny these shots. It's obvious my baby girl is trying to be born, I feel like these shots are hurting her 🙁🙁 the first time I totally understand but a week later....
