Okay, Thursday the doc told me I'm in early labor, I was 50% effaced and 1cm dilated and contracting every two minutes. Friday morning I was only at 3cm and 75% effaced. He let me go home because I live like two minutes from the hospital. Contractions have been two minutes apart consistently since Thursday, varying in pain level. Today I have had to poop FIVE times, some of which are constipation, some diarrhea. Is this just more progress in the labor or is something wrong with me?

Vaginal labor is so easy I would rather take the contractions any day than to have to have a c section

I had a membrane sweep today. Before the sweep I was 3-4 dilated & 75% effaced.
I'm havin some contractions that are about 20 minutes apart and lasting 3 minutes. It's been pretty consistent for almost 2 hours. Is this the beginning of labor? My doctor said if I had 6 in an hour to go to L&D but I only had 4 in an hour. I'm 32 weeks with twins.

Finally, after nearly FORTY-TWO weeks... I decided to get induced. Baby Violet scared me with some decreased fetal movement and I couldn't wait any longer.
I've been in the hospital since about 6. My contractions were about every two minutes for a while. They gave me a couple doses of a medicine that's supposed to stop contractions and are giving me fluid. I don't know what the drug is called but does anyone have experience with stopping preterm labor?
That is definitely a sign of labor. I did that for three days before my water broke.
