Typically an hour for each breast. Really depended sometimes on how full they were. But I tried to pump till I felt it was empty

I had that problem too. I breastfed my daughter till she was 6-7 months old but when she was just born after she got out the hospital she would only drink a little at a time being she was so little so to keep them from overfilling and hurting I had to pump every 2 hours like clockwork and if I missed a pumping they would hurt terribly bad from being too full. I had to massage them and put warm compresses on them. As I pumped more and she began eating more during a feeding it got better but when I started work it got a bit harder but don't give up, it will get better

feed on demand and pump after every feeding every 2-3 hours & massage them all the time also a warm hot bath helps ease the pain

Breast pump covered by insurance

Breast pump covered by insurance I've already done what I needed to find out what type of pump I get covered through insurance. It turns out, with my insurance, I can't even get my pump shipped to me until I call them with all the birth details of my baby. So...wth am I supposed to do having a baby and no pump?! I plan to pump exclusively and this REALLY throws a wrench in my plans.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Breastfeeding moms: so I am planning on going on a 3 day vacation with my hubby & a bunch of friends to Catalina in May, (my baby won't be going with us) and I do not wanna be pumping and dumping every 2 hours out there.. so if I don't pump or breastfeed for 3-4 days, will my milk supply drop significantly? 😩😩 & I don't know how I'm gonna deal with the engorgement pain if I can't find time to pump out there.
