my son decided to wake up at 130 am and stay up til 4am. so I've been the one to get up with him the last 10 months he's been alive, so I ask his father can you get that. his response I have to work in the morning...that just set me off! I work 24 hours a day taking care of your son but its not work?! so I told him to take care of his son and work and tell me how tired and stressed he is. it took him 2 and a half hours to put him to sleep.. when it would have taken me 30 minutes tops. I can't believe people think this isn't work?! I'm exhausted and drained....honestly I'm just over getting no help. I can't wait to leave for 7 months, and maybe just move on
yeah but a lot of men see it as a women's job be cause of the fact we carry them 9months ..not sure why but alot still view it like that...of course as a stay at home mom i stay home and watch the kids 24/7 if my husbamd has to sleep for work i won't wake him he works over 12hour shifts but we are an old fashion couple...he still helps so much..more than any man I know.
It is very draining. I feel like most guys don't see that though. My boyfriend is a truck driver so he's gone all week then on weekends he's too tired & just wants to relax. 😣 I'm not a stay at home mom I have a part time job. But either way kids do require a lot of attention and work.
I'm the primary provider for my family and the boyfriend is a stay at home dad. I work 40 hours a week waking up at 8:30am working until 5. I have woken up with my son through the night since he was born. Your husband should be able to take a few shifts.
