Tell me if I'm wrong... So we see my SO son on sats for 3 hours we live in wixom but we have to drive an hour to get him and take him to his moms that lives about a half hour away from where we pick him up to be there for an hour then turn around and drop him back off then drive an hour back home. But I have to stay home with the baby because I don't want him in the car seat that long. I wanna go I wanna see his son and I want both the baby's to get used to each other and have him get used to me because eventually we will get full custody of him. I'm upset about the situation because I will be careing for his son when he works so I want him to be conterable with me and I won't if I can never go. So I asked him nicely if we can work something else out so its easier for all of us and I don't get left out and the baby doesn't have to suffer in the car that long and all he says is I don't wanna loose the chance to get full custody of him but you need to think of the rest of your family also. You want to leave your son with me when I would kinda be a complete stranger to him. Ive been around him a few times and we all played but he needs to get to know me more.

Is the visits court ordered? Like do they have to be exactly as you described? If not then he should be able to bring his son back to yalls house... I have two step sons and I will say it’s a cluster f*** dealing with their mom and were in the same boat kinda except my husband has no visitation rights or custody rights to his boys because they were never married and even tho he pays child support plus their medical insurance she doesn’t have to let him see his kids but the only reason we get them for a few hours on Saturday and Sunday is because she has to work and can’t afford a baby sitter and her mom refuses to watch her grand kids which I don’t like her watching them anyways.. prime example my oldest jumped off her bed and busted his head on a marble table 🙃 because she wasn’t watching them....
Oh gosh that's horrible and we only get 3 hours a week and we live an hour away from were the foster mom wants to meet. 3 hrs was court ordered for now we will get more time down the road but they wanna start with that first
We could go to a McDonald's with a play area but that will get old every time for 3 hours
Why would changing how he sees his son make him lose the chance at getting full custody? I’ve worked in family court for years and never heard of that
He always wants to make it convenient for the foster mom but what about us!!
@jenny955, I totally get trying to make it easy for the foster family BUT he needs to know you and your son too especially if you’ll be the one watching him. It’s in the child’s best interest to visit your house and be around the whole family
@faithhopelove he can come to the house but we live to far away to be driving back an forth its an hour drive if it was 10 mins yeah we woukd just bring him over but once were out there we gotta stay and find a place to go with him for 3 hrs it makes it hard on us and kinda pisses me off to like come on we can't meet half way or something

Ok, so my friend is wanting to get pregnant but..... Mommas who are separated from their childrens dad. If my sons father is to get our son every other Friday-Sunday, but then tells me halfway through the week he can't take him Friday until Saturday due to taking up an optional shift at work, can I legally tell him he either takes him Friday at his ordered time or doesn't get him? So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
