Update: my manager got yelled at today for giving away my hours to a 16 year old who isnt even old enough to get hired in my position. District told him to get his stuff together or the next one out would be him. Hate having to fight my way through until the district shows up but its still funny considering the fact shes literally 9 months pregnant.

Just a question. My daughter is 8 months old. We tried banana rice rusks on her the other day and she didnt do too well. I want her to have 1 snack and a meal or two per day. Whats a good 2nd step snack food for an 8m old? My husband and i dont want to waste these banana rusks but she visibly does not like them and im afraid to try the dried yogurt snacks for fear she may choke. Any ideas? First time parents.

So crazy my little turns 8 months this week and shes already doing so well. Shes like the easiest baby even though unfortunately i think she has seasonal allergies shes been such a trooper baby. Well today i picked up my 7 m old and placed her on my lap and when i let her down my husband realized that she had pooped on my leg and was crawling around the living room with her lower half covered in fecal matter. Thank God for my husband he quickly grabbed baby wipes and cleaned my leg off since i was wearing shorts and grabbed her and changed her real fast and cleaned her up while i went and washed up. Ugh. Wont be the last time or the first time... yaayy parenting.

Todays my first mothers day. My daughter was dedicated at church today and i went out to eat with my whole family. My brother got me bath salts for mothers day which i fully intend on using this evening. I work at a family restaraunt which made this evening a mandatory work day for my team so i had to have my mother watch our LO while i go slave away making this money. Hopefully i dont have to work a whole shift.... v.v

My husband and i are firm believers in vaccinating children and got vaccines ourselves. We have also both worked for and with autistic and mentally challenged patients. Were still trying to figure out why people are putting other children at risk of disease or DEATH for the simple fact that they do not want to have their child develop autism.
