can anyone tell me how labor pains feel I heard differently from the women in my family my aunt said it feel like your body tearing apart my cuzzin said it feel like you have to take a booboo real bad and you can't

Came to the ER earlier today with back pains and mild contractions . 3 cm dialated and 70% effaced so I was discharged , well waiting downstairs for my ride to come pick me up I started having stronger contractions so I went to the bathroom and out came my mucus plug ! By the time I got back upstairs I was 7cm dialted and after a few hours of non stop contractions my princess was born !❤ Jaliyah Jade Randolph 6lbs 15oz , 20 inches long ❤ !!

came in at 7 with bad contractions. got my cervix checked then minutes later my water broke! I'm 4cm dilated ATM. Xayden popped in me so we're both bein watched carefully and closely!

Omg I am actually in LABOR without being induced 😥. I'm 4 almost 5 centimeters at my Drs appt and on my way to the hospital WOOT WOOT!! Wish me a painless delivery even though I'm going natural lmao😂😂😣

История родов #началось все как обычно ночью)но я не ожидала что это схватки было терпимо думала что просто болит живот и так просидела я всю ночь с 12 до 4 утра,я конечно побоялась сама Незнаю чего и даже не будила мужа,мучалась в одиночку))в 4 утра началось все сильней и мне пришлось его уже разбудить так как я сообразила уже а вдруг это схватки и начала засекать время сначала было 10 мин,потом 8 ,потом 6 ,потом 4,длилось это так быстро ,и когда уже было по 3 мин ,вызвали скорую ,приехала в роддом,посмотрели меня,сказали ложные схватки,и раскрытия вообще нет срок был 37 недель и два дня,ну и вообщем они меня оставили там сказали через 5 дней не родишь поедешь домой,оформили меня в 7 утра 7 декабря,схватки начались все больней,дотерпела я до 10 утра и пошла сказала врачу что очень больно и интервал был уже 2 минуты,посадила опять на кресло говорит раскрытие началось ,но наврятли родишь ещё рано сказала,пошла дальше в палату мучаться,время 12 пошла опять к ней говорю очень больно,раскрытие было уже 4 см,и меня перевели в род блок в 2 часа дня,мучалась там в 4 часа раскрытие уже 7 см,в 6 часов уже полное раскрытие но воды не отошли ещё,прокололи пузырь,начались невыносимые схватки,и в итоге в 21 15 я родила ,но честно скажу рожать это не больно и не так уж страшно,самое страшное это схватки,акушер генеколог попалась мне на удачу ну очень хороший человек очень помогала мне и всегда была рядом,заранее не договаривалась с врачами,рожала в калкамане,вроде врачи хорошие или может смена попалась хорошая мне,но когда родила и мне положили сыночку на грудь забыла про все на свете и про всю боль которую испытала))))это того стоило чтоб взять свою частичку на ручки ,ну в общем как то так))спасибо за внимание 💋💋💋

In labor at the hospital. Having a good time! No drugs and was induced with water breaking. Baby just grabbed the doctor's finger during cervix check! I'm about 2 or 3 cm with soft cervix. Doctor is happy with my progress and very consistent contractions.

so it seems there is a move on.. after having contractions since last night but nothing too painful or regular they are coming close now and are defo painful. just wanted to take this moment to say a big thank you to all you lovelies for listening to me moan! you have helped me through a lot of worries. lots of love for all of you xx

I wonder if I'm going to make it to my dr appt Friday. If I've been having contractions and dilating all this time, labor should be a breeze. My body has been in pain but I've been handling it pretty well

How long did any first time moms have steady contractions before they were close enough to go to the hospital?? Mine have been steady since 4am yesterday morning but not close enough together to go in 😩😥😢

Soooo here's my birth story: Eveyone knows I planned an all natural water birth, well of course things didn't go as planned but I did do the one thing I wanted, I HAD HER NATURALLY, & OMG I Felt EVERYTHING Lol!!!!! Sooo Wednesday night around 7 I started having light but consistent contractions but I knew I was seeing my doctor Thursday morning so I was like ok let me just tough it out until the morning. Thursday morning (still having contractions) I make it to the doctor and she's like ok let me see how far dilated you are! She checks me and as she's checking me I can feel my cervix stretching 😳😫so She sends me straight to the hospital! I get there and I'm being admitted into labor and delivery but my contractions are all of a sudden 3 minutes apart and starting to get very very strong. Once I'm all checked in, they get my tub going for me to start laboring in the water., IM IN SOOO MUCH PAIN; I get in the water and although it does relax me and eases the pain as soon as I get some relief the pain starts getting more intense but this time with sooo much pressure that I felt like I was pooping on myself. I stood up in the water to squat down & I start to feel something coming out of me, It's my Entire water bag, it broke and came completely out!!! (I was FREAKED TF OUT lol) so now I have to get out of the water and get in the bed because it's no longer safe for baby to not be on the monitor. By this time I'm SCREAMING & crying for the damn epidural, anesthesia doctor comes in to finally give me the epidural (an hour later) I'm hunched over holding on to the doctor to prepare for the epi while still having contractions but this time I have sooo much pressure my body started to automatically push on it's own.. I start bleeding so the nurse lays me down and goes out to get my husband (poor thing just thought I was supposed to be getting an epidural) when they come back in I'm hunched over on the bed to try and relieve some pressure and pain and I can start to feel my baby's head coming out, she's looks and runs out the room for the doctor "She's crowning I need the doctor now!" My poor husband is trying to hold me down on the bed while our daughters head is sticking out of me. Nurse comes back in and she's telling me don't push but I CANNOT help it by this time my body is taking control., I felt two strong urges to push and I felt my baby girl come out!!! The nurse passes her to me and she doesn't even cry just lays there on my chest for about 15 minutes, while the doctor comes in and checks me out and delivers the placenta. We wait another 5 minutes or so and Daddy cuts the umbilical cord. It took me a minute but then I realized; My little bitty self had this little baby girl ALL NATURAL No Pain Meds, No Rips or Tears, AND Without the doctor being in the room...... I FELT LIKE A CHAMP!!! Even though I thought I couldn't do it and in my mind I had given up, my baby girl showed me that I could do ANYTHING. Just when I was about to cave and get the epidural she came before I could. This was an Amazing experience something I will remember and cherish forever, I'm truly blessed and I'm soo forever thankful and grateful to god for blessing me with 2 beautiful kids and seeing me through two crazy deliveries. Well I hope my story inspires any Natural mommies and if not I hope you just enjoyed hearing my experience!!! HELP!!! После первых родов начались проблемы со спиной (щемит нерв в пояснице) так вот я думала что меня пронесёт и во время этой беременности все будет хорошо,но не тут то было...в общем я теперь хожу как подбитый терминатор...завтра к терапевту.Кто сталкивался с таким напишите пожалуйста как проходило лечение и можно ли к мануальному терапевту идти(просто там в основном на животе лежать нужно,а нельзя)..короче я в панике,ведь никаких противовоспалительных нельзя,да и сильных обезболивающих тоже...

how do i know when im actually having contractions? As of now my stomach keeps tightening, i have alot of pressure down there which is causing abdominal pain and some back pain😣 but idk if those are contractions or its just regular pain

My Twin Birth Story (30w6d) I went in only because I was having an increase in braxton hicks contractions. No pain but my doc wanted me to go to L&D to be monitored. Immediately they saw I was having contractions 2-4 mins apart. I was shocked. Then 4 people checked my cervix (I would never allow that again!) Painful and I swear it did more harm than helped. They got 3 cm, 4cm, 6cm and a dumb doc got 8 cm! (How the heck did they all get diff dilations? I mean really!!) They immediately started prepping me for an emergency csection...wo once telling me what was going on. Then when there was 10+ people rushing around the room my husband said "TIME OUT! WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!!" Apparently the last doc thought I was 8 cm and that he felt babies toes hanging out. By the grace of God the doc from my ob practice walked in and calmly checked me (6cm) and US to confirm that the baby was NOT breech! The room cleared in 3 seconds. The night doc was comfortable with trying a vaginal delivery. So we were happy about that. Well her shift ended and my doc has never had a success attempt at preemie breech delivery. But she got so upset when we brought it up. That it completely hurt my feelings. We just ended up doing the cSection but I know in my heart the babies would have been fine. I didn't want the doc to do something she was uncomfortable with. Babies are here. They have very minor breathing issues. My milk came in so they are getting momma's milk as of today. So I'm grateful that everything turned out fine. I just can't wait to hold them and give them kisses

I still can't believe I went through so much of my labor at home & was 9cm when we finally made it to the hospital. Actually having him was NOTHING like I expected. I was supposed to be induced on the 22nd, not have him naturally on the 10th. lol

So my mum and her friend have just sat and told me all about labour, how it feels and what to expect! I'm not ready for all that 😂😂 made my fear and anxiety rocket! Ahhhh, Really hope I have a nice easy, slippy baby😩

TMI sorry I had sex and I'm feeling contractions My stomach keeps getting hard and My back hurts a bit! I don't know if they are REAL contractions or not but they don't feel like Braxton hicks

My friend that I posted about yesterday went in this morning again because of strong contraction 2-5 mins apart and they gave her more meds to stop them. She’s 39 weeks. I haven’t heard anything about it in a couple of hours so I’m hoping her doctor has came in and fixed the issue and is going to let her have that baby. I don’t understand why they keep trying to stop her contractions when she’s so far along with such strong and close contractions and was 4 cm dilated last night. 😩😩😩

I've been having contractions on and off since last night and they've gotten a bit stronger but nothing too much. I was going to take a warm bath to ease them so I can sleep but my mom says that'll speed up the process if it is labor and make them worse? Idk man I just wanna sleep 😩😩

Not stopping.... Went to l&d today cuz I woke up at 3am to sever cramping, back pain, and tightening. My contractions were 3 mins apart, but I waited tell 7am to see if they would stop which they didn't. When I got to l&d they hooked me up to the monitor, gave me fluids, and told me they were not going to stop them. I'm 34w6d I'll be 35 weeks on Monday. I'm just concerned cuz the contractions are not stopping and I'm not ready for my little man to come out yet? sorry just a little rant!

This is my 1st Pregnancy. I am having extreme pains in my lower back, leg, and lower pelvic/hip area. Is this labor pains? Water hasn’t broke. Haven’t lost mucus plug.

I'm 4 weeks away from giving birth , I'm a little concerned as in why I haven't felt any contractions or anything at all ? Sometimes I feel a little pain that lasts 2 seconds but nothing drastic ..?

Omg painful contractions with very sharp sharp pain in my jay jay is NO fun!!! Has anybody else had this and went into labor soon after??? just trying to see if I need to wait or what bc Im very good at taking pain. I've been dilated to a 3 and a half as of last week. I know my doctor said to come in to L&D if my contractions are 10 mins apart since I'm having to have a c section so they'll have time to prepare. But I really don't want to be going in for nothing but omg I'm in SO much pain and this sharp vagina stabbing pain is getting worse! She also said at this point they will do nothing to stop my labor. Prayers for me y'all, im trying to wait this out!

I've been having hard contractions since 3:30pm I finally lost my mucus plug tonight. Should I go to the hospital because I still haven't dilated but my cervix is soft

I hate to be that person, but I'm desperate... About 1.5 hours ago I started getting really bad back and abdominal pain. I've tried timing contractions but the pain has been almost constant I can't really tell. No bloody show or leaking. I've tried a shower, on my 3rd cup of water, and tried every position possible, and I can't stop peeing. I'm 36+4. Id hate to wake up my family for this (it's 12:26am). My first pregnancy was induced so i don't know what natural labor is like. Suggestions? I have an NST at 2pm should I try to hold out?

how did you know you were in labor? I'm having some serious back and tummy pain, it's bearable but it's super uncomfortable I wanna curl up in a ball and cry. I'm just curious as to what everyone else has experienced
