How long did any first time moms have steady contractions before they were close enough to go to the hospital?? Mine have been steady since 4am yesterday morning but not close enough together to go in 😩😥😢

They had me walk around the hospital when I went in the first time to try and get it going faster but it just wasn't so they sent me home. Walking helps. And I would say if they are pretty intense AND steady that's when I would go in. So if you're getting them every, say 8 minutes or so, I would go in. But if you're getting them one at 5 and then one at 12 and then one at 7... I would wait until they are more consistent within 1-2 minutes of the same so like regularly between 6-8 minutes or whatever is regular for you
@threekings101415, okay, I'm going to try that lol. Thank you
@threekings101415, oh ok, so when you walked it made them come faster? I've been resting because every time I stand or walk I get one..... But if being active will help I'll definitely take the pain lol
@rydersmommy88, that's how I feel. They feel strong to me but are sometimes like 6 minutes apart but other times like 15 minutes apart. So I'm confused 😒
It actually happened fast to me. I woke up at 10am they was every 9-10 mins I walked around my house and cleaned around 3:30 they was every 3-5 I went to the hospital around 4:00 and 4:43 my baby was here. It was a quick process..
No problem 😊 it's really hard to know. Even though this is my second I'm still worried about knowing when to go
@threekings101415, how long from your contractions starting did they get to 3-5 minutes apart?
I waited until mine was 3-5 apart. when I got the hospital I had my baby 30-40 mins later..
My first I went in when they were 5 minutes apart and they sent me home after a few hours. My midwife this time told me it doesn't matter how close they are, it matters how intense they are. They can be 10 minutes apart but if they are intense enough the baby is coming
Oh, but that was with my second baby, not my first. Water broke the first time.
No problem! Good luck and congrats! Hopefully you'll be meeting your little one soon!
