I just saw a post on which the mom was upset because her in laws refused to buy new car seats (the ones they own are expired) for their vehicle. I personally do not see how someone could expect someone else to buy car seats for their grandchildren. I would not allow my children to ride in expired seats which means I, as their parent, will provide a safe seat. opinions?

@jazmin805, it was an anonymous post request asking opinions to a Facebook group. There were over 150 comments on the post and I did comment my opinion as well. I just think it's an interesting talking point. essentially do you expect others to provide supplies for your children.

i agree but it i was her i wpuld alsl be upset of this post..i woukd be like why dpnt you tell me persoy your opinion and why are you writing a post about me...i know what your saying tho...like its your kid not your inlaws .. i would never expect nobody to buy my son

I think it depends. If they will be my childcare or something then I guess I would provide what's needed, but if the grandparents just want to take my kids places all the time then I'd think they'd buy a car seat for their vehicle.
Any Mommy's know which car seats are safe to buy?? Cause I have heard recalls on car seats, I want our son to be safe. 🤔🤔😳
So I got rid of my spacious Chevy Impala and now have a compact Hyundai Elantra. I’m trying to figure out which car seat would fit best in a smaller car.?? The car seat will go behind the passenger so there will be a little more room to move the front seat up.

I am so incredibly grateful for my best friend. Last night she and I were in a car accident. I was driving and we got hit by a student driver. My car is totaled, I had to come out of pocket for a rental car. Both of my kids car seats were in the car and I’ve been stressing on how to buy new seats for them, she just told me that her and her husband bought us new car seats. I can’t stop crying.
