I am so incredibly grateful for my best friend. Last night she and I were in a car accident. I was driving and we got hit by a student driver. My car is totaled, I had to come out of pocket for a rental car. Both of my kids car seats were in the car and I’ve been stressing on how to buy new seats for them, she just told me that her and her husband bought us new car seats. I can’t stop crying.

I’m so glad you’re all okay! That’s so scary! And honestly, that poor student driver also. I bet they were so scared too, hitting someone with little kids in the car. Ugh! That’s so scary!

No. I thought I did because my husband and I got in an accident 4 years ago and had the same insurance and they covered it then. I’m not sure what changed
Your insurance should've covered new carseats and you shouldn't have been out of pocket anything though??
Well apparently my coverage doesn’t cover a rental car which is crap and they said we need to buy new car seats and give them receipts for them and I’ll get reimbursed
@fairykarmamomma, @smile-your-beautiful, yeah I talked to my insurance and they said they would reimburse for them. I’m just waiting on the claims adjuster to call me

@llcoolkay, geico sent me money in 2 minutes. It was in my account 2 minutes later. However, they were insured for the woman that hit me, but it woulda been the same thing if I went through my AAA. I wouldn’t go through my personal insurance for the car seats, I would go after the party at fault. I also had the other party pay for my rental car as well. I always keep rental car coverage, but this wasn’t my fault so I called them up an made them pay.
@fairykarmamomma, I wasn’t able to get any information from the people who wit us, it’s in the police report so I have to wait for that to be finished to even go after their insurance

Always amazed
At the amount of seats that come into seat checks totally wrong. I did roughly 30 checks today and only 4 were right! Lots of babies are now safer in the car!
I got my daughter a new car seat and I love it! It’s so much smaller than her old one and it adjusts so easily! If your looking for a seat for a small vehicle this one is good!
I need some help mamas!! My daughter hates her car seat 🙄 today we change her car seat for the one where she can face to the front, but girlll it’s the same she’s always crying making her show and I can’t drive like that she acts like someone’s it’s killing her 😩 any suggestions? How do I calm her down? Any help?

I got my 18 month old a new car seat yesterday but do her legs seem fine or is she too squished up against the back of the seat? Edit to add- my 3 year old is out of her car seat in this picture because we’re parked in the garage. I just wanted to see how my other girl looks in her new seat.
