I knew a girl who had a pulmonary embolism because of it and died. So yeah it increases your risk, but like everything it varies person to person

Yeah I'm pretty sure there's always risks to everything. I guess because I haven't smoked in years I haven't heard of that .

I've been on birth control since 17 and have smoked weed since I was 14...never had anything bad happen. But I hate cigarettes so I don't know if there's a difference 🤔

If it's on the package, they probably at least had some instance of bad effect. But I never heard it personally. 🤔 I'm not a smoker tho, so that might be why.

Yes it increases risk of blood clots

@mrsmord, it says on my birth control package not to smoke cigarettes or use any kind of tobacco because high risk of blood clots, high bp, blah blah blah. I didn't know if anyone had experienced this.
