Yea so did my doctor. I couldn't decide either.

Why not the depo shot? That's what I wanna do after I give birth bc I'm terrible at remembering

I plan on getting the implant in my arm, nexplanon I believe is what it's called! It's safe for breastfeeding, you can have it for 3 years, and you don't have to worry about it getting stuck in your uterus like the mirena! I am not too aware of the cons though, so you can read up on it, I've watched some videos of people who gained weight and got depressed, but I am going to try it anyways :)

I got the nexplanon and it's working perfectly it lasts for 3 years the only thing you have to keep up with is the date that you got it in and it goes in ur arm or do like I did and research all of the birth control plans and pick out which one what you think would be fitted for you

I currently have the nexplanon and I'm looking for a new one and have not a clue what to get either. I hate this implant 😣 I've bled for 10 months straight along with weight gain, depression and everything else under the side effects column

NOT SPRINTEC! Was taking it and still got pregnant, I was on it for 6+ years

I know it's a lot to read but this is the closest I could get to scientific journals that I've read in the past (was a bio major and we did a study on the depo shot)

I'm just nervous about having something implanted into me 😭 but idk if I'll be good with taking pills everyday and yea my mom had he mirena and it became imbedded in her uterus so that's out too 😔 @mrsmord @littlepeanut91 @brudd330 think I might try the implant though I'm yet to hear anything horrible from it.

Before you make your choice, go on youtube and watch what people have go say, and have a nice chat with your doctor. Also, if you get it and it doesn't work out, you can always get it removed :)

with mine I only bled a month straight and now I off and on spot and that's it I haven't gained weight from it or anything @breannab

because at one point it stopped and I thought it was over and now Its back full force! its literally ruining my sex life. and the mood swings suck too. but everyone's different. I just happened to be the one with all the side effects lol they say it usually takes about six months to regulate but my bleeding never stopped. I was giving it a chance 😂😂 @breannab

Me too lol this is stressing me out because my husband refuses to wear condoms and I refuse to have a whoops and get pregnant right after having a baby 😭😭 @mrsmord
