I hadn't heard of it before. I have a medela freestyle I got from my aunt that she didn't use but it's 5 years old and I can only guess it still works like it's supposed to. Here wic won't give you one until 6 weeks after baby is born :/

Aeroflow got back to me the next day. I'm just waiting for my doctor to sign off on it since you need a prescription. I have a medical card and the only free one for me was an Ameda unless I paid to upgrade.

I went to aeroflow. It depends upon your insurance which ones are covered. I wanted the Medela but it wasn't 100% covered unless I paid an upgrade fee. They send mine out 2 weeks before the due date, so I should get mine anyday.

Breast pump covered by insurance

Breast pump covered by insurance I've already done what I needed to find out what type of pump I get covered through insurance. It turns out, with my insurance, I can't even get my pump shipped to me until I call them with all the birth details of my baby. So...wth am I supposed to do having a baby and no pump?! I plan to pump exclusively and this REALLY throws a wrench in my plans.

Trying to get a breast pump through my insurance feels about impossible 😣 United health care is awful. I have a prescription for a pump, but they're seriously making me jump through hoops. My insurance will cover a non medical gender test no questions asked, but try and order a pump to feed my kid, and they act like I'm asking for $10,000!! I'm determined to get this pump for free. If not, guess we will have no choice but to buy one 😡
