I got mines about a month before the baby was born. If not if you ask them when you have the baby at the hospital they bring it to you as well.

Yes, 3. I order through edgepark. Super fast. I ordered on a Friday and had it on Tuesday.
ETA: when I apply I pick out my pump and I provide my obs info and they get the prescription and info from them.

I've done both. I bought one with my first baby. And then got a new one through insurance with my 3rd baby
