so was in l and D all last night went in for stomach pains that turned into full on contractions just after 1 so ended up getting a shot to try and stop the process which thank the Lord it did. I also go a morphine shot and an antibiotic IV drip. I'm exhausted but I can only sleep in 2-3 hour increments... what can I do?

@mommyloveshersweetdiva, yeah that morphine just made me dizzy and my hand burn a bit which is where they put my IV. but I only got like 2 hours of sleep with it

@emmygirle, they gave me two shots of steroid to help my daughter lung mature and I hope you get a pain medicine that works I know my second day I was give one pain medicine that works so well but don't remember that day was so outta of it just remember bits and pieces of that day

I hope he stays in there a little longer for his lungs and brain. yeah the meds worked. I was in so much pain any time he moved it hurt to the point of tears and I'm seriously not one to cry over pain unless its serious

@emmygirle, hope your baby waits cause they gave me medicine to delay my labor I was only 32 weeks and 5 days once the medicine stopped it was all on my daughter to see if she wait until 34 or 35 weeks she didn't once that medicine stopped she was still wanting to come hope everything goes well
Anyone else have to get the rhogam shot at 28weeks ? This will be my second time and I am dreading it because it was so painful the first time. Can they do it without poking the belly now?
My doctor also recommended me getting the flu shot while pregnant ? I'm not sure if I want to or if i should ? It's all scary to me !! What do you ladies think ? Did you get the flu shot while pregnant ? Are there any risks? Or should I wait ? I'm so scared of taking anything while pregnant , much less getting this shot.. He said it isn't mandatory , just recommended.
I honestly wish I was a nurse already...so I can know more about what they put in shots...I honestly think deep down they put scandalous crap in vaccines..but I have no proof to back my theories up...so I have to make sure my son gets shots... he feels so sick after them tho... :( my poor baby. I had to give him 3 doses of Tylenol today.
So question.. Idk if anyone can answer this besides a doc but I don't feel like calling right now haha anyways. During my 14th week of pregnancy, I stepped on a rusty nail, so I got the Tetanus shot. Well, they say that every pregnant lady should get that shot in their third trimester cuz it prevents whooping cough in infants. So do I get it again? Or am I ok with the one I got before? It's a painful shot that makes you sore :/ so I want to avoid it if I can!

@emmygirle, hope everything goes well though and my water broke so I had to stay in the hospital until my daughter decided she was ready to come but thankfully she was born with little to no problems only spent 10 days in NICU even though she was 7 weeks early and hope your little one decides to wait a bit longer
