Is the Rhogam Shot at 28 Weeks Painful? Can They Avoid Belly Pokes?
Anyone else have to get the rhogam shot at 28weeks ? This will be my second time and I am dreading it because it was so painful the first time. Can they do it without poking the belly now?

I got mine in the butt/hip area during pregnancy then in the hospital after birth I goy it in the arm
After birth I got mine in the arm too but in the belly during pregnancy which is so weird especially seeing no one else has had it.
@mb2424, It’s so scary to know your life is another humans hands. They can do things that most of us arent aware isn’t right . Especially when it’s a right then and there kinda situation.

@luv_2b_amomma, I hated depo the second time around. I had it when I was 18 and it was great but after I had my daughter it made my hair fall out, I had terrible mood swings, and hot flashes. So I got off of it and I was off it for about a year and half and then I got pregnant with my son. After I have him I won’t be getting back on BC I don’t think.
@inked_mommy92, omg ! That sounds horrible. And so similar to what happened to me on depo. I said I will never take this again. I got on the depo when I was 18 as well after I had my son and at first it was great. No period , no pains etc. Then after the first year I started gain rapidly, hair was coming out , skin was breaking out and shedding, it was draining me emotionally and physically. I stopped immediately. No more bc for me .
@luv_2b_amomma, Yeah I am done with BC. I’ve tried every form except nexplanon and the Nuva ring which I know people who’ve had both
I definitely will. I know that won’t happen again .
With my 10m old I went into early labor at 28w and they gave it to me in the leg and I just got one a couple days ago at my appointment due to spotting and they gave it to me in my arm.
What did they say when you was spitting that made them it early ? I’m really concerned now knowing that no one has gotten the belly shot .
@luv_2b_amomma if you have a negative blood type they will give it to you with any kind of bleeding to be on the safe side. I know they've offered to give it to me in the butt but they just like to give it where its fatty.

I’m an L&D nurse also an RH negative mom I give these injections to patients on the daily...and it’s not protocol to ever administer these in the belly! I’d definitely speak up when it comes time if they attempt that again.

That's so weird, I got it in my arm and when I had my son they gave it to me through the IV (though they were going to do it on my buttcheek).
I know right! I hope this Obgyn I am at now does the arm or butt. Maybe I should ask when I go back next Friday.

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
