I'm trying to transition my babygirl to formula, when she was in the NICU for a couple of days they fed her similac stage 1 & she was taking it just fine. Since she's been home I've been breastfeeding. I feel like my breast milk is not filling her up so I bought some similac stage 1 but she didn't even want to swallow it, she gave a face of disgust. I also tried enfamil newborn & she spit that one up too.

my breast feeding counselor gave me info.. idk if it applies.. but it says you know4 they are getting enough if they have at least 6 wet diapers a day.. and. believe 4 poopy ones..i have to get the book ..

i know this is late, but when my daughter was in nicu they gave her the same formula. they also told me that formula gives them a more full feeling & giving her an ounce after breastfeeding would help keep her happy & full
