My August baby decided she wanted to be a May baby like her big sister. Madison Noelle was born on Tuesday, May 24 at 3:50pm, weighing 2lbs, 13oz and 14". She was born at 27 weeks and has a long road ahead of her. Every day she has been getting stronger and amazing everyone. Please keep us in your prayers, my family and I have a long road ahead of us. Congratulations to everyone and I wish you all wonderful pregnancies and deliveries! ??❤️
@michellejojo I will definitely keep you guys posted. Good luck on your pregnancy! You've had a preemie before? How many months are you, now?
@twist3d16 You're so sweet! Check in any time! ☺️
@gwatechula This NICU life is a crazy one. We've only been here for two weeks. How are you handling it and how is Max doing? I typically come in the mornings while my husband is with our 2 year old, then we spend some time with her together and he comes at night. We're tired 24/7 but are doing everything we can to get our little girl home, sooner! ??
@Twist3d16, Maddy is doing well. She's up to 22cc and slowly creeping back go to her birth weight. I'm doing well, also. Just exhausted. I have a crazy 2 year old as well! ?
@shayward911 2lbs, 13oz. 14". She was fairly big, given her gestational age. We are very lucky.
@Julianna88, they suspect there was some kind of infection in the placenta because there was a foul odor at birth. I was diagnosed with a shortened cervix around 20 weeks, but my Perio inserted a pessary along with progesterone that stabilized everything. I tested positive for FFN around 24 weeks and got steroid shots for two days, then tested negative at 26 weeks... It's all crazy how this happened when I had a full term baby two years ago.
Update: Maddy is doing great! She has a PICC line in, and the umbilical line out. We're finally able to hold her after a week! She's up to 7cc of breastmilk every three hours and off of phototherapy. She's already looking bigger and stronger and right around feeding time, she goes wild. We're so blessed with this little fighter. She's tiny, but mighty and making her father and I stronger people every day. Thanks again for your kind words and prayers. They really seem to be helping! ?
She is so beautiful, and looks so good for 27 weeks and is a great weight! My brother in law was born at 24 weeks 1 pound 9oz and is now a fairly healthy 30 year old with all the advances in the medical field since then I have no doubts that she will be just perfect. Congratulations.
Thank you everyone! She is breathing on her own, but will continue with the CPAP for precaution. She is up to 1CC of breastmilk every three hours and is starting a routine, waking up before feedings. We are truly blessed with this little one and she continues to make progress! She came off of phototherapy today and they're hoping to remove her umbilical line tomorrow! ?
Congratulations on your baby girl. I know it was scary(I too am due in August and had a scare), but God has you, her and your family in his hands. Y'all are very blessed to have her still with you. I pray God continues to guide your baby girl towards better health and a speedy recovery??. Welcome to the world Madison??.

Has anyone tried evening primrose oil to start soften they cervix ? My sister did it and she had her baby this morning at 39 weeks

My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️
This girl on my fb is 8 weeks pregnant with her first child and she said she felt the baby 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️people these days 😂😂😂
Rant!
My sitter used cottonelle wet wipes on my baby! Now she has huge rash!!! I totally get that my SO forgot to put the wipes in her diaper bag. But she could have told one of us and we could have brought her some or she could have went to the store and I could pay her back. I don't get it. She buys her clothes and toys, takes her places while I'm at work. The store is literally a 5 minute walk from her house. But she decided cottonelle wipes are ok? Ugh. Rant over.
Congrats my daughter was born the may 21 @ 1lb 13oz your baby is precious ! Prayers xoxo
