I don't see why it would be a problem. I breast feed and supplement and my son takes Munchkin brand paci's for breastfed babies. Just depends on what your LO takes best. :)

Yes it's fine, if your talking about safety. You never know if it will cause nipple confusion unless you try, if it starts them don't offer the paci again. My monster won't even take ANY pacifiers.
