I took another opk today and it's pretty strong. I think it's a little fainter than the control line, but it's definitely questionable. What the heck?!? I'm so glad I'm temping this go round.

Yes I am going to slowly ween myself off the lotion first and then vitex. I might request another lab before I go off vitex....

I know, why make the capsule orange! Must be made by a man! ? The inside goop is white. During my investigation I cut one open. It took me a few minutes to realize that the orange capsule disintegrates... So scary!

I am going for my second labs this today but wont get the results till Monday. They wont let me schedule my first apt till they see what my numbers are... I quit taking my temp and hpt. I am trying to have faith that this pregnancy is going to be successful!

Hb if you look at my chart I had 2 days where I thought I ovulated and then didn't! Keep temping, that temp shift is coming!

Darn Hb- looks like you are going to need to bd again lol. Don't worry about the dogs waking you up. Waking up early would have raised your temp and it wasn't that high so I don't think it affected it much. Just make a note of it.. Today has to be it! Good luck!

No temp shift this AM! Only up .1 or so and my dogs woke me up briefly a couple hours before. I didn't get out of bed, but my sleep was interrupted momentarily. I was thinking for sure yesterday was the day and I would see a dramatic shift today.

I had a panic moment earlier today. I thought I had started spotting. It ended up being that I leaked some of my progesterone capsule out and the actual capsule is a burnt orange color and dissolves after being inserted! ? So glad I figured it out before I called my obgyn freaking out! ?

As far as the EWCM there probably was plenty of it left near your cervix. That's exciting that the grapefruit juice worked that well! If you are dry tomorrow you probably O'd today! Of course that would also be confirmed by your temp shifting.. Drying up is just a secondary sign.

Ladies- I have been struggling with fatigue.. it gets so bad that I feel guilty about driving home from work (like I really shouldn't be on the road fatigue). And today the hunger hit me pretty hard. I've been trying to eat well but if this hunger continues to be this intense I think I'm going to start packing on the pounds pretty quick. Wouldn't be a bad thing I guess because I have lost as much as 6 pounds as of a few days ago.

Oh and what are our thoughts on quantity vs quality of ewcm? Had some very nice super clear stretchy stuff earlier this afternoon but by the time we headed to bed and bd'd tonight I think it was already gone .... ?! Or at least harder to notice.

Omg y'all are going to laugh at me. I went to take another opk (not entirely sure why at this point but I'm still testing anyway) ... and then I poured my cup of pee back in the toilet, flushed, and realized I hadn't even dipped my opk yet!! ???

Chen- so glad they are giving you a supplement! Wonder what your progesterone would have been without the cream and the vitex!? Are you going to stop using those after you start the supplement?

Hb- I liked seeing the pattern as well. You should O within 12-72 hours after the first positive OPK. Can't wait to see that temp shift!

My obgyn are putting me on progesterone supplements. I'm kinda relieved because this is one more thing that will help me keep this baby! My levels was on the low side at 12.6

I got a halfway positive last night (I think the neg one was after drinking my half gallon of water for the day) and another positive this AM. Just did my noon one and it seems to be fading a bit (so technically negative), but still a strong line. Last cycle I had one and only one +opk so I'm excited to have a few more (don't know why though!!)

My temp has been low last few days so I'm wondering if the temperature surge will happen tomorrow. I'll post!

Grapefruit juice is my new obsession. I hope I'm not drinking too much but I also just really like it!! Think I just noticed the first sign of ewcm. It has been very smooth and creamy before today.

MY obgyn called and my levels yesterday at 3 weeks 3 days was 94 and my progesterone was at 12.6. If my hcg levels double by 4 weeks it should be 376 which is within the normal range (5-426). Whew! Im feeling a bit better. I go back Friday morning and will have to wait till Monday for my results. They wont schedule my first apt/ultrasound until we see my levels on Monday...

Ok never mind. They're flaming positive. Who am I kidding?!? lol just figured I would be another day or two before the + opk kind of caught me by surprise!!

I am not 100% sure they're positive but I think they are or very close. I hate that we didn't bd last night now!! I'll post them - would y'all check? Getting 2 lines on SOMEthing is at least a little exciting haha

I also had to take my temp this morning an hour early. I woke up to pee an hour before I usually get up and went ahead and temped then. My next one would have been after only one hour of sleep and I wasn't sure if I was going back or not. My first open circle on FF ??

Chen- that is a super dark hpt! Mine didn't get that dark until I was approaching 5 weeks! Try not to worry about it much though. It can be completely normal to have high HCG numbers. Maybe your Dr. Will let you have an earlier scan since they are higher ?. Maybe multiples! That would be exciting!

Hb- yay for the positive OPK! Get to bding and keep it up until FF confirms you have ovulated! Fx for you!

PUL?! Never heard of it but I like the odds of it heading towards a healthy pregnancy for you. Wish you didn't have to add this to your list of worries, though. My hpt this morning was super dark. Like just as dark as the control line. Im only 11 dpo today so Im getting kinda worried about all the things that can go wrong with to high hcg.

Chen- I think I will be told when they find something but I'm not positive. They definitely should tell me though if they find it's ectopic since immediate action would need to be taken.. As far as the blood draw I am going in right before my US to get the bloodwork done. So I don't know if I will be getting those results today. My US is at 3:30 this afternoon eeeek!

Will the doc/tech tell you right away when they see the placement of the baby? Will you do labs in the morning and wait for results before ultrasound?

It was at 686 right before the scan last time. I get another draw before tomorrow's scan (my arm is sarcastically shouting 'Yay!'). If it has continued to double it should be around 20,000 tomorrow. Definitely should be able to see something then.

Do you know what your hcg level was at? Was it above 2000? Ive never heard of that. When will you know more? Praying for you and your lil bean!

My US report just got released to me and I am classified as a pregnancy of unknown location. I just looked up what that means and I found a study that shows that with PUL's 50-70% of cases spontaneously correct themselves, 7-20% end in ectopic and the remaining pregnancies fail without finding out where it was.. Which makes your next pregnancy higher risk due to being suspect as ectopic on side of caution. I should have never googled!

now I think that makes some sense!

Chen I think at the earliest you may have ovulated two days earlier but I would keep it where it is at for now. I actually thought you would get an early bfp when you got one because your HCG levels were so slow falling. You may have still had 2-3 HCG in your system to start with and you would test positive earlier if you did. Your US will give you a better estimate ?

That is tricky, Chen! How many dpo would your bfp have come if you considered first spotting as CD1? I don't think it's right but interesting to consider!

Same here, Sunkissed! The cycle I got preg back in April I wasn't tracking anything or paying attention really and had crazy ewcm - couldn't help but notice! Husband and I happened to bd 3 nights in a row and voila. I don't know what I was doing around then but I was doing something right for ewcm! I'm excited to see what the grapefruit juice will do as O gets closer. Just one more day till your US!

Chen I'm on CD 12. Have been bd every other day and will probably pick up the pace to daily starting Wednesday or Thursday and can only go to sat PM. ? hope it'll be enough! OPK's have been faint. Had one slightly dark a few days ago but was Def not +. Think I'll start checking about 4x per day now. I've been holding off my water drinking in the morning to get a more concentrated test at noon. Guess I'm in the crunch time lol!

Good cover sunkissed! Im feeling pretty normal, I have the usual cramps that are worse at night when I am finally done chasing my toddler. My boobs hurt off and on and I can smell everything. Im wondering if I ovulated sooner then ff app said I did because I got my first faint line at 7dpo a positive digital at 8 dpo and which means I had a positive digital at 3 weeks 2 days pregnant...... My period was really crazy last cycle too. I started spotting in Aug 3rd and kept spotting until the 8th when I actually needed a feminine product. So when they ask for first day of lmp???? On my period tracker app I used the 8th as my first day. All that spotting was the reason I used progesterone lotion and vitex this cycle. I wonder If I would have gotten preg without it?

I guess everything will be clear after my first ultrasound for my edd. But based on ovulation its May 20th.

Oh yes.. Nausea is still here. It seems to hit worse in the afternoons/evenings. My ginger pills have been great so far. Just hope they continue to work! I think I just may go into work tomorrow and tell them I have a dentist appt scheduled and forgot about it until they sent me the email reminder. I don't want them knowing about my pregnancy yet ?.

So I think the grapefruit juice works! No egg whites or anything yet (don't expect it till later this week) but the creamy sticky has been around all day and I can really feel it. I'm just feeling much damper than usual. So I'm getting excited about that! (Lol the things that come out of your mouth when ttc!!)

Still a little nervous about hubbies travel schedule, but your timeline makes me feel better! He leaves so early in the morning (like 4) and gets back so late the next day that I don't think his return will come into play. I think I'll be 2 dpo by the time we could bd again and it would be late (like midnight or after). So I'm hoping that Saturday PM bd will be sufficient as the last and final. FX!

Hb my sister got married the day I ovulated and the day before I had her rehearsal dinner... So we bd on cd 18 and didn't do it again.... And I ovulated on cd 20 Sperm can live for up to 5 days! ?

Sunkissed, I wish we all hadn't gone through a mc. Its not fair that we can't enjoy the miracle of pregnancy because we are so scared of losing the baby. Wednesday will be here before you know it and everything will be okay.

I'm trying to hang in there. I was doing pretty good until yesterday and today. It's starting to get more overwhelming the closer it gets. At first with the HCG results I felt like I could handle things if it went south but idk if I can handle finding out my pregnancy is not viable during an US again. I keep having flashbacks to last pregnancy and have at times gotten a little teary-eyed thinking about this US coming up. I am terrified about experiencing the same thing again. ?. I'm trying not to think about it though.

Actually might not be so bad. Last month I got +opk on CD 15. Is cycle! CD 15 for me will be Friday and he has to leave Sunday AM and back late Monday PM. I'm hoping I'll get +opk a little sooner this go round. I think I'm getting back to normal after d&c. First cycle was 5 weeks, last one 29 days, usually I'm more like 28. Soooo.... Fingers crossed for that + OPK soon. I almost forgot how far into my cycle I was and have only been opk peeing 1x per day! Till today lol.

I am sure it's super hard not to worry during the early days (and months even), but hang in there!

Lol about your hubby contributing the early poas. Your chart is looking good! Hope this is your month! I'm sure when my Dr retires he will have a good replacement but it won't be the same. He has been my OB for 6 years now (although we I just started TTC at the end of February.) he was very helpful through my MC as well. Spent about 30 min just talking to me at my post MC follow up about what he thought could have happened and the plan moving forward.

Hopefully he recommends you to someone just as amazing!

Today I am on cd 27 and 7dpo. Last cycle I started my period on cd 24 so far the vitex and prog lotion is working! I tested this morning and of course its a bfn. In my defense my husband asked me to test! Lol he is convinced Im prego. I hope he is right!

Yes I really like my Dr. He has 35+ years of experience and has always been great when I have seen him. Only sad part is that idk how much longer he will be practicing medicine. He is in his 70's and if he retires I have no idea on how I could replace him!

My draw went well! Thanks for asking! My arm has had it with needles though. I was hoping I was done for a while but my Dr. Office wants another US done next week and to do that where I am going I have to get another blood draw. Honestly it will be nice to know what my numbers will be when I go in for the scan but my arm is beat up.

My HCG came back as 3302 today! It doubled again ?. It has been doubling great with exception to last week. They are thinking there should be something to see when I go in for the US now. I scheduled the US on Wednesday when I should be 6 weeks. I'm a little nervous about it because I know the reason they want another scan is to catch an ectopic early but I want there to be a chance I see a heartbeat. Hopefully I won't have any more pains in the mean time.. that would freak me out.

Hb I never answered your question... Yes I am taking vitex and prog lotion to help lengthen my lp phase. With my projected af date my lp phase is 11 days typical lp phase are 12-14+ so I am a bit shy in that department. I am hoping I implant earlier rather then later so my body will not start preparing for af.

Implantation dip maybe? Keeping my fx for you!

I wonder if the large dip in temps I had around that time was related then. Maybe it was a vanishing twin? Ugh.. I hate not knowing. I go in for my next blood draw today and hopefully will get results before the weekend. Chen- I call them to get the results. They would eventually call me if I was more patient but I just don't know if it would be the same day or not. How was your temp today?

My sister says that your heart does a good job of circulating your blood but using different locations for draws can have a small impact on accuracy. She said that if she hit a tendon you would feel nerve pain shoot up or down your arm. She said that a tendon wouldn't give blood but she could have hit a tendon and then found a vein.

Sunkissed, tomorrow you have another draw right! Its awesome your lab results get back to you so quickly! Do they call or email you or post online on mychart?

Hb you are off to a great start! I am enjoying temping this cycle now that my results are more typical. My previous cycles I was sick, still had hcg in my system and I was temping orally. My charts were a hot mess!

I am majorly symptom spotting... Cramping, achy boobs, and today I can smell everything! Tomorrow is dpo6! I am really going to try very hard to wait till Monday to test. Monday is the day before my period is due and its labor day!!! Kinda ironic if I get a bfp that day!!! Plus hubby will be home and I cant keep bfp from him for more then 10 min ?

That is so interesting to think about hitting a tendon and it potentially impacting your levels! Curious to see what Chenricks sister says! Sun kissed do you think the cramps you're feeling could be round ligament and your uterus stretching? I so hope this doesn't end in ectopic and think it sounds good that you're having some similar feelings on the other side now too!

Chenrick, I'm excited to see your temp staying put up top ? hope it continues! Just curious - you are trying the vitex and progesterone cream to help lengthen your LP right? Wondering if it would help me any or not. I am pretty regular 28/29 day cycles so I'm not sure !!? I think I have a pretty solid 2 week LP as it is.

I'm on CD 7 and temping has been good! Gotten it so far for 3 days in a row within about 20 minutes each time. Hope I can keep it up!!

Yes! Please ask her I would be interested in knowing! Also- keep taking the vitex. I have heard that you want to slowly wean yourself off of it if you do get a bfp because the sudden decrease in it may cause progesterone levels to drop and possibly cause another MC. Hope those cramps you are having is a good sign! I have still been cramping. The last few days the cramps have been pretty sharp and moderate. More painful then period cramps.. They feel more like the cramps I have around ovulation. But they are not just on the left side anymore they are also on the right so I'm hoping that means it's not ectopic.

That is very interesting! My sister is a phlebotomist, Ill ask her! She has told me before that they should poke you in the same location for the best accuracy. I had a few in my arms and a few in my hands when I was having my levels monitored. I wonder if blood not from a vain would have an accurate amount of current hcg in your system!!!!????

Everyday I wake up and see my temp is nice and high I get a little more hope that I am preg. Im nervous that if Im not preg Im going to be pretty bummed this cycle. I am still taking my vitex and have been using a half dose of my prog lotion before bed. I am cramping off and on and was pretty tired yesterday. These are also signs of af... So time will tell! ?

Yes I am still temping! My temp has been fluctuating between 98.9-99. So nice and high. I don't know how I feel about the US next week because I know it will be too early to see more then just a sac. I want to be able to see the heartbeat to feel better about it sticking. I know I still need the US though because they are trying to catch it early if it's ectopic.

I have been perplexed by all of this but yesterday when I was getting my blood drawn I was talking with the girl doing it. I mentioned how the other arm has been bruised and the draw actually hurt really bad when it was done and I continued to feel the sting even an hour later. The girl told me that they most likely hit a tendon. What is interesting is- that was the blood draw that had the low HCG. Is it possible for the blood sample to be messed up if the blood from sticking the tendon was also part of the sample? Maybe all this extra testing and worry is a result from someone who botched a blood draw? I will never know for sure I guess.

My levels today were 1552! A 40.75 hour doubling rate from Monday's result. They are still requesting another beta HCG test to be done on Friday and then will probably have me do another US next week. It's looking better now though!

HbTid- don't worry too much about what your temps do in your follicular phase. They tend to be all over the place. After ovulation the temps go up and stay much more stable during your Luteal phase.

It jumped .3 - that's considered a big jump, right? I've been avoiding drinking but our neighbors keep inviting us over for cocktails!

So ladies.. I woke up today feeling pretty nauseous and took a ginger pill and have felt fine. But I made the mistake of not putting the pills back in my purse and it is now it is wearing off ?. I really hope I can make through the rest of my day at work!

Guess we will find out how helpful those ginger pills are!

My temp went up .1 and my cramps are gone this morning. I have been super relaxed all month but this tww is getting to me already and Im only 4 dpo. ? My temp calmed me down a bit though, which is ironic because my last two cycles it was one of the factors that caused my stress. I guess more reliable results will do that!

Im nervous for an lp problem because I have a feeling my obgyn will tell me my body needs time to adjust after mc. Im 29 though so time is ticking!!! Id like 2 more babies and would prefer to be done by 33-34. Hubby and I have big plans for retirement lol.

Chen- really hope af is not coming so soon after you just confirmed you ovulated. If you did there would be issues with your Luteal phase. But if your LP is fine then the cramping this early on may actually be a sign that a swimmer found your egg! I hope the later is the case! Both of you keep me updated on your charts ?. I like the distraction. As for my HCG result- I will be going in at 1 again today so I am hoping I get the results back as fast as last time. I believe they will call because they need to tell me if they want another done on Friday based on what the results are today.

I was pretty nauseous today but I think the ginger pill kept me from needing to throw up so I think they are helping. I have already lost 4 pounds since last week. I do not really have the extra weight to lose so hopefully that trend doesn't continue.

Ugh. Stinks that they won't do any testing. Can you request panorama testing? That was optional for me and wasn't covered by insurance but it was about $100 or something for the lab workups sometime around 10 weeks. My doc was the same way - only consider high risk for mc after 2 mc's. Seems crazy to me!! One was terrible! I hope so much that this one holds on for you. How's the nausea? Ginger still helping?

Crosshairs super exciting! So I was confused trying to read your chart (and I still haven't done much research yet) before and thought day after +opk based on fact that typically ovulation happens next day or so (so CD 19)... but your temp shift wasn't really there yet. Now it is and the cross hairs put you at ovulating CD20 right? This is so cool how it can be so pinpointed.

I'm finishing up af now. My cycles are usually about 5 days. Heavy for a day, medium for a couple, then barely anything for the last days. Started temping this AM! Hope I stay consistent with the timing. I'm fascinated by the whole thing! (nerd alert) So I'm CD5 and started opk's today too... figured might as well get the whole routine going at once! Cd5 here we go.... yippee.....

I am doing good. HR went up to 68 but has dropped the last few days down to 65.. Doesn't make me feel too confident because it continued to dropped like that around the same time last pregnancy and stayed really low until I MCd. I don't know if the two were related but I guess we will find out. Last time I MCd my Dr. told me that he thinks the reason for my MC may be a genetic issue due to how I MCd since there were no signs of a problem leading up to it and that my body seemed to continue to support the pregnancy until weeks later. He said then that unfortunately they wouldn't be doing any testing until I develop a history of MCing. Hopefully if I MC again they will be willing to start the testing to see if that is the case. I'm still trying to be hopeful but my bar has now been set really low after the results of the initial HCG testing. I know they have improved quite a bit but it still seems like something is off.

So the beta from today was 686.. It's actually a good number now! I am so confused about what is going on. I went in for a scan today to see if they could tell if it was ectopic but the scan didn't show anything at all.. Probably because I am not very far along. They want me to continue to get my blood drawn on Wednesday and possibly Friday to see how it is progressing and then once it hits 1500-2000 they may send me in for another scan since they should be able to see something by then. I really hope this doesn't turn ugly. This is all happening so fast. And all of this running around has made me super tired again. ?.

No throwing up but I have been taking ginger pills so that may be why. I'm in to get my blood drawn again and will be getting a scan today to rule out an ectopic pregnancy.

So ladies.. Not so good news. HCG numbers came back and they are not good ?. They only went from 117 to 160 in 48 hours. They are recommending another blood draw and may want to do an ultrasound to rule out ectopic since I have had the sharp pains on my left side.

Chen- I commented on your chart. I think you may have I'd on CD 20 so hopefully you will see cross hairs in the next day to two. Keep temping. ?.

Chen- did you post your chart? Yeah I have mixed feeling about being sick also haha. I am just hoping it means a healthy pregnancy but in the back of my head I'm wondering could it mean more? I keep thinking back to when I ovulated and I definitely had pains on both sides. The pains lasted for a few days past ovulation so there was no mistaking them. And then I have been so exhausted lately and am already getting sick. I know twins is a long shot but it seems like it's adding up.. I haven't gotten my second quant result yet so we will see what that is before I start all this crazy talk.

Sorry about af HbTid?. I am feeing pretty good today.. Still extremely exhausted but cramping has subsided quite a bit. I had some nausea earlier today but I am trying to eat more protein since I red that it is actually more effective in keeping bases under control than carbs. (Even though when your nauseous protein is the last thing you want). I will go for my second blood draw at 5pm so I'm really hoping my numbers have doubled. I got a 2-3 weeks on the CB weeks estimator yesterday on evening urine so I know it has gone up.. So can't wait to get my results! As far as doing anything for EWCM... I don't do anything special. I just happened to get really good EWCM this cycle for some reason, more then I usually get and much better quality. Why that was the case I have no idea?. This may be a little tmi but a really good time to check you cm is after a bowel movement since the same muscles will push some cm out. It could be that you just don't have enough to have noticed but it may still be there.

No they weren't checking progesterone so I have no idea what that was about. I have been trying to research if 117 is normal at 4 weeks but I don't think I will really know until I get my 2nd quant done. I have been testing with cheapies since my bfp and at first they were faint and took 3-4 min to develop and this morning it only took about 1 min to start developing and was about 50% on the control at 10 min. Not bad for not even missing my period yet right? Tomorrow af will officially be late.. And she won't be missed lol.

Hb- I stopped testing last cycle and ordered my thermometer and OPKs days before af came (af came 5 days late) I started temping on CD2 but you can wait until after af has finished if you don't want to temp while bleeding.

I drink 8 oz and I bought the reduced sugar kind and its still doing the trick! I def have an increase in ewcm and its super clear!!!! I started drinking it after af was gone. I really wish I had done it sooner!

Got my positive opk this afternoon! And a temp drop this morning ? last night was our night off so the next two nights we will bd and then prob will switch to every other. Hubby and I feel like we stopped to soon last cycle. So we will prob stick to that till cd 30 or af. Really feeling hopeful!

Chen, I have always been a big water drinker (minimum half gallon each day), but I haven't tried grapefruit juice yet! I'll pick some up. Can't hurt. How much do you drink per day?

We kind of laid low my first cycle and didn't really try but didn't really prevent either. I think we only bd'd one time when it could have come into play. This is my 2nd one since D&C in late June. Before my mc, we weren't crazy actively trying, but definitely not preventing for a few years. Now I'm sooooooo ready! I'm worried that since it didn't happen on it's own when we weren't really trying for so long that there may be a larger issue.... but we'll give it a few months and then see where we are. Think I have the thermometer all picked out! It says it will hold the last temp so I can record it later if I go back to sleep. I'm all about squeezing every minute of extra sleep ;) Pretty sure I'll need the thermometer... expecting AF's arrival tomorrow. With so many BFN's recently, I am ready for her to get here and go away again.

I cramped with my dd. I would run to the bathroom expecting blood. But here she is my little toy tornado! When do you get your results back? You are feeling morning sickness so I am sure that your levels are nice and high and your little bean is safe and snug!

Still no positive opk yet. But its gradually getting darker. I am hoping by this pm. We have been bd 2 days then one day off pattern. Im too paranoid that every other day isn't enough. But last cycle we bd 6/7 days and it became a horrible chore! We are doing a complete remodel of our house and hubby comes home from his job and puts in 2-3 more hours of labor on our house. He is exhausted and it makes it hard to ttc!

I try to temp between 6:15-6:45 am every morning.

My opk is almost positive tonight. I think by tomorrow night I will have a pos opk.

Hb- no the constant peeing hasn't started yet! I think that was one of my first symptoms last time but I also tested days after my missed period last time so maybe I didn't notice?

I went in for my labs today! I can call and get the result tomorrow. They didn't want to do it but they ordered them anyway for me hehe.

Tomorrow is when my period was due so I still technically haven't missed it. Missing it will be a great milestone. I have actually been pretty crampy today.. Makes me nervous.

Also- you should temp at the same time each day so if you end up getting up to pee you should go back to bed and try to get to bed again before temping. If you wake up an hour or so before you should be temping then just take it and make a note in your chart that you temped early. I had a few days where I temped either an hour early or an hour later from random issues and they didn't seem to change my chart much it at all.

Oh and Sunkissed are you peeing nonstop? Lol that was my first and only sign when I expecting my period before I knew I was preg.

So I should temp when I wake up to pee if I've been asleep for at least 3 hours? Or should I work something else out?

You want to temp at the earliest time you wake up each day. You can go back to sleep after if you don't have to get up that day. Make sure to get a basal body thermometer that has two decimal points (00.00).

So I'm pretty sure it's not going to be too much longer before I start running to the toilet due to morning sickness. I have been dry heaving the last 4 days and it's getting worse. Today I'm 4 weeks! It's crazy that's it's starting so early this time. I started getting sick about 6 weeks last time and made it to 8 weeks before I puked.

Yes temping was hard for me when I was temping orally. I felt like my temps were all over the place. Since I switched I am way calmer about it. I recommend temping vaginally - sunkissed was right!!!

Mine said I am considered high risk with one chemical and one blighted ovum. They will do labs, check my prog, and do early ultrasound. My opk was a bit darker this afternoon but actually seems a hair lighter is evening. My ewcm is super clear and stretchy tho.... So fx!

Sunkissed it's nice to have a nurse going to bat for you on the labs - at least to give it a second thought instead of just doing the normal. After my mc, my doc said if I get pregnant again they won't consider it high risk but they would do earlier labs and US. True what you say about it not preventing another mc but if they do at least you may know a little sooner. I didn't find out till 11 week transvag and felt totally blindsighted.

Chenrick any movement on your opks?

I just assumed it would need to be because it is so early. They needed a transvaginal last time and it was measuring 5.9 weeks with a sac that measured 7.8 weeks. They don't have very good quality US equipment in the office (it's like a 1980's hand-me-down) so I still think I will need to schedule with the hospital.

Why does it have to be transvaginal? With dd at 6.2 it wasn't and we saw heartbeat.

Yes I will be 6w2d! Fx! I still haven't heard back from the Drs. office about the lab work ?. It will most likely just be a check up.. I will have to schedule the US at the hospital since they don't have the equipment at the office to do a transvaginal. I'm thinking he will let me schedule the US not to long after the checkup though!

Alright, I posted this earlier on chenricks post but I'm moving it here now so I don't have to go between posts as much--- So I called and made my appt and discussed labs with them. Can't trust anything I say I going to do lately lol. My first appt is September 9th and they are deciding if they want labs or not. At first they said that since I have had no spotting they are not concerned about MC and didn't think I need the labs done. But then I explained to them that I had no spotting at all last pregnancy and I ended up MCing. So the nurse is going to talk to the nurse practitioner again since my case is a little different then what normally occurs for first time moms. I am curious to know what the nurse practitioner thinks... If they decide not to do labs I'm fine with that decision (the results are not going to prevent another MC anyway). At least I don't have to wait until 10 weeks before I have my first appt like last time?
