I know I’m only like 3 days postpartum, but please do not always expect things to go a certain way and these hormones are really no joke. I wanted so badly to breastfeed and it’s just not working out for me. I haven’t given up 100% on breast feeding but I’m definitely reminding myself that fed is best and I shouldn’t put myself down for anything I can’t control.

Just wanted to share my labor and delivery story for anyone that’s interested😊

So woke up Monday morning at 5 am with contractions that were 10 mins apart, tbh I didn’t even know what a contraction felt like but I knew these were different. Every wave started at my back traveled towards my pelvic bone and radiated down my thighs. I timed them for 3 hours straight until I could go to my doctors office (I had a 40 week appointment anyways) as soon as I went in I was checked and was told I was 4-5...

I’m so incredibly happy and exhausted, 18 hours of labor, I pushed for an hour and he was finally here!! I’m so obsessed. I tore up pretty bad and I’m in lots of pain but it was all so worth it!!

It’s baby time!! I’m 4-5 cm dilated and having some intense back labor😭 please send some positivity and prayers my way I’m so nervous and excited!!! I can’t wait to meet my precious baby boy😭❤️

Feeling a little emotional that I made it to 40 weeks. What a blessing. I’m totally exhausted and ready but extremely thankful to god that I made it this far❤️

Positive induction experiences? I’d love to hear some good things about being induced instead of always hearing negative things 😭 Idk why I’m so scared of possibly being induced. His due date is tomorrow, and I’m scheduled for an induction in about a week if he doesn’t come on his own.

Just wanted to say a quick congrats to all the mamas that have had their August babies so far❤️ All these beautiful babies are making me so anxious and excited for it to be my turn☺️💕
