Just wanted to share my labor and delivery story for anyone that’s interested😊
So woke up Monday morning at 5 am with contractions that were 10 mins apart, tbh I didn’t even know what a contraction felt like but I knew these were different. Every wave started at my back traveled towards my pelvic bone and radiated down my thighs. I timed them for 3 hours straight until I could go to my doctors office (I had a 40 week appointment anyways) as soon as I went in I was checked and was told I was 4-5 cm dilated and in labor so I was sent to labor and delivery. I waited a good 5 hours with contractions that were 3 mins apart before getting the epidural. I was 6-7 cm when I received it and a few hours later they broke my water, put me on a bit of pitocin to help things out and by 10:30 PM I started pushing. I pushed for an hour straight and baby Saif was finally born at 11:37 PM. Weighing 8 lbs 4 oz and 20 inches long I have 2nd degree tears and tears in my urethra, which means I have to be on a catheter for the next 24 hours😭 I’m in a lot of pain. Recovery so far has been very stressful and painful but it’s all worth it for my little man. ❤️
@the.real.og, I wanted to wait a little longer and see how far I could go honestly. Contractions aren’t fun but breathing really is key!!
Congratulations 🎉. Wishing you a speedy recovery! And easy transition into motherhood! 💜
Aww congrats love. Those tears will heal. My first born ripped me as well and I'm so scared for the delivery of my second because of him maybe ripping me but you don't really feel the rip when it's happening your to wrapped up in everything else. But still those wounds will heal and baby boy is extremely gorgeous ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love birth stories.. they're so interesting 🤗 congratulations on your baby
Congratulations! He’s perfect! I didn’t tear my urethra but I had internal and external tears. It was bad.
💛💛 that’s amazing bee that you got to do your thing natural !! Congratulations on your boy he’s beautiful !!!
I had 3rd degree tearing and internal tears with TONS of stitches. I feel you! It was a long and painful recovery and still hurts from time to time even after 10 weeks. Congratulations on your baby! He is absolutely precious! 💙
I had 2nd degree tearing and a tear in my urethra too. Extremely painful. I'm sorry girl. My pain lasted a month. With this last delivery I barely had any tearing and just a couple of stitches but I'm still in a little pain when peeing. Lol it hurts either way i guess. Congratulations on your baby boy!!!
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Religion Conspiracy/Theory
**This is not to bash peoples religion and beliefs but to talk about our own theories and ideas** I would like to discuss a certain topic that came to mind after talking to my SO. I know some of you ladies like a good conspiracy talk so i would like to have a good discussion and hear thoughts of others. So back story my SO friends got very offended when he mentioned not believing in god or religion and it got me thinking. Is religion a failing form of goverment cont...

My husband and I aren’t exactly strangers when it comes to relationship challenges 💞. We have been together for 14 years and married for eight, so we’ve definitely gone through some growing pains as we navigated a long-distance relationship in college and our first year living together as a married 👫 couple.
But nothing has challenged our relationship quite like our first year as 👪 parents .
Before you have your first child, you have these grand ideas of what it will be like. There’s more slee...
