My whole stomach is rock hard and painful during a contraction and there's a lot of pressure. When I had cramps similar to what you're explaining, my OB said it was most likely my body dilating.

@phoebesmommy, nothing regular. I had like 6 or 7 yesterday but they were all irregular. Like I can go with feeling okay for hours and then I’ll have one or so.
