I’m currently about 15 minutes into my 3 hour glucose test. I’m so bored and uncomfortable!!The chair at this location is just a plain waiting room chair. The other locations have recliners. 😡

I failed my one hour glucose test. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I asked if I could just skip the three hour test. I’m positive I have GD, I had it with my daughter. But the doctor won’t let me. I’m going to take it in about 3 weeks.

I had gestational diabetes with my daughter. My doctor is having me take the one hour glucose test before my 12 week appointment. Is that normal or a bit early? I’m nervous because pretty much all I can keep down is carbs.

Honest question... (not directed at anyone on this app) why is pregnancy kept a “secret” until the second trimester? Is it to spare others the uncomfortable position if there is a miscarriage? Just for the fun of it? To complete with others?

At work someone announced around 8-9 weeks and by some of my coworkers’ reactions she’s horrible, crazy, and attention seeking. It’s frustrating to me that our culture shames women for being excited about pregnancy.

So I’m a bit bummed. I told my (usually)super supportive mom about the baby today. She was happy/shocked. One of the things she said really bothered me though. She said, “ I’d have thought you’d plan it..,” then stopped. I’m not sure how she was going to finish but it bothered me.

I’m obviously super happy to be pregnant but a bit surprised it happened so soon. It took 18 months with my dd so I wasn’t expecting to get pregnant so soon after stopping birth control, plus I’m still breastfeeding....

I’m pregnant!! I’m supposed to get my period tomorrow. I hope this baby sticks. My doctor put me on progesterone supplements.

Teacher and principal mamas, I need help!! Ive been working at the same school for 13 years and have an interview at a really great local district. I’m not sure what types of questions I should have ready or what kinds of questions they’ll ask me. Also, what should I wear? A friend who is a principal said more professional than regular teaching attire. What does that mean? Slacks and a blazer or a dress suit?

Any advice from someone familiar with the process would be incredibly helpful!

I think my breastfeeding journey might be coming to an end. 😥 My daughter is teething and it’s making the teeth she already has hurt! She’s had the four teeth for over a month now with no pain for me so I was hopeful that we wouldn’t have to stop. I had teeth marks earlier today though and it hurts so bad to nurse! I usually only nurse at night but it’s still upsetting.

I have a bunch of opks that expired in February. Do you think they are still good? Lines show up and they seem to work.

My daughter has her first swim lessons on Saturday. It’s a mommy and me class at Kids First Swim School. Has anyone been to one? What should I expect?
