if I say I do not want my baby daddy's mom up to visit the baby when the baby is born can I say I don't want her there? will my baby daddy have a say if she can see him?

ladies, I need yalls help. the father of my unborn child has not been apart of this pregnancy at all. I'm do in almost 8weeks, he don't wanna help out with my baby's needs like mainly the carseat he hasn't gotten any clothes pampers or anything a new born will need,I'm so stressed out don't know what to do... My son is set to arrive in two weeks from tomorrow & his dad just threatened to take me to court all because I said his girlfriend wasn't allowed to come to the hospital. What should I do/say?

This may sound crazy but can you bann your babys father from coming to the hospital. Firstly I want my daughter to interact and see her father but he threatens he's going to take the papers and give her the name he wants, and that he will take me to court and this and that. She can see him I just don't want him near me during delivery or the signing of any documents.

Now most people don't know the whole situation between my baby dad and me. And to them this post might sound childish. But here let me tell all of you Mommies and Soon to be Mommies. I was in love with Adi's father, my first and what I thought only love even though we broke up 2 years ago! I always wanted him back even though he would cut me down constantly, spread the worse kinds of stuff about me. Until I just stop. I was just a dumb bitch in his past. Then he messages me out of the blue this summer. And my heart is racing like maybe he wants me back. Maybe there's a chance he might still want me. Well we go to his friends house and he completely ignores me after we have sex. He made me feel sooo fucking cheap and this is the second man I ever slept with. I lost my virginity one month before sleeping with him. But he made me feel worthless that I wanted to leave and the feelings were gone! I was free of feeling like I needed this boy in my life I was free from thinking I was in love

I always said if I ever had a baby, I would be with the father of my child... but Now my situation is so much different I don't talk to my baby father nor does he check to see the progress with the baby!! it's super sad to know in 4 weeks or less I will be what I NEVER wanted to be a single mom. I know it's nothing major to mom's who been there and done it.. I just wish he understood how much of a grudge I'm holding toward him for walking out on his son .. I don't see things getting any better.. Nor will I reach out to him..

I see all these post about how horrible some baby's father's are to their baby mothers , some together and some not . and it makes me count my blessings , bc my sons father treats me like a queen . I'm glad my baby boy has such a good role model .

should men have the option to help you choose what to do if you are pregnant unexpectedly or if he don't want a kid but you do...should the father have any say in the matter....(I'm not talking to about married couples) I wonder because if he was to say he wanted you to put it up for adoption and u didn't split with him and kept the baby could he opt out of child support... because not all women care what the man wants tho he is part of it...

Haven't been feeling emotionally connected with my babies daddy. I'm living with him in his family home that includes mother, grandmother, aunt, uncle, 2 cousins.. I have gave him almost a year to move out, and now he hit me with the "I need to work too, to be able to move out" mind you my son is not even a month old. Not to mention that yesterday I went to the hospital, and he said he couldn't call off work... He also left me while I was in labour for a day to go home and "rest" He says he provides for me and my son... YET I'm still living in a unhappy place... No food in the fridge, and he now refuses to buy clothes for my son because he has "enough" Also he and his mother have a weird relationship.. She controls him basically, and calls him babe... I gave him back the engagement ring.. And I'm thinking about seeking help at a single mothers organization... I'm so tired of people telling me I'm crazy for letting him step into the father role so what he isn't her biological dad but he has been there since day one he cares and loves her so much and that's something her biological dad has never done.

I know this is quite a lot but I really need advice....okay so this is what I'm struggling with my husband and I are expecting our first child, it's a boy but before me my husband went through a situation with his ex where she was pregnant and said the baby was his so he sign the birth certificate and the little boy has his last name. I know it was before me but now that I am pregnant with his biological child I want him to get his name remove from the birth certificate and for her to change his last name and cut off contact with them because every few weeks she is always messaging him about changing it and always checking up on him but all he does is ignore her because he like she oonly saying that to have conversation with him . In the past I use to get upset with him about the name thing and the messaging between them so a couple months ago I tried an different approach I decide to tell him not to worry about it as long as their was no contact there and to try to see if he would do

Maybe y'all can help me....my baby father and I before we got pregnant was good friends and he mentioned to me that he was on/off with his girl back in Cali. So we contuined to mess around and he had me "thinking" we was in a relationship. So once I got pregnant, things changed. He's throwing this girl in my face and saying that she's the only girl he will ever love but I feel like it's not fair to me or my baby because he doesn't even wanna be with me or even try us to see where things will go. So my husband's brother and his wife have been trying to get pregnant but my husband told me that his brother got checked and he's sterile. My hubby wants to start trying for another baby in 2016. I feel so bad that we have an almost 3 month old and are going to start trying next year to have another baby. I know his wife wants another baby bad he has not told his wife and she keeps going to the doctor thinking she's pregnant. I don't think we should have another one. So I have a question for the moms that receive child support. My sister was married to her ex husband for 7years and 3 kids later, well they been separated for over a year now and her divorce was finalized a few months ago. He has a new gf now who is about to give birth to his baby come March. He took my sister to court for child support cause she didn't want it from him but he insisted he'd pay. Well she just started getting it a little over 2months ago. She gets it every other Tuesday but last week he told her she wasn't getting the full amount cause he had missed work for a week and his check was low. I thought once it all goes thru court and he's supposed to pay a certain amount it stays like that that he can't choose to pay what ever he wants when his check is low. And she was supposed to get it this Tuesday and nothing she called the place and said it wasn't taken out. She tried calling him at work and his cell and no answer. Basically he just wants to pay when he wants to. Since

My partner and I have reached a joint decision that his side of the family will have absolutely nothing to do with our baby, not even updates and they won't be told when the baby is born. Has anyone else experienced this? Was it difficult? I am slightly worried about it effecting our child when he/she is older, but she/he would be affected more if his family had contact...

My boyfriend has come to the realization, after 9 weeks of knowing, that he's going to be a daddy. He was so scared at first, and so was I. We worried about financial, finding a suitable place to live, my schooling, work...but we both understand now that was is happening is going to be a beautiful thing. I was really scared to tell my parents. They are very conservative people. My worries are gone now though because everyone is so excited for us. From the life I once had and once lived, I believe this little baby is a miracle❤❤ I believe that it is my time to be a mommy and show the motherly love a child should have.

So my daughter's father messaged me about him signing her birth certificate. And i completely lost it, and told him no. He has not brought one thing for her or even showed support! Was i wrong or no?

And of course now all of a sudden my child's father says he doesn't think he's going to be able to get the blood work done that he needs to get done before my appointment on Friday after I tell him about him and his family having to get the TDAP vaccine. Smh I can't with this kid. He's pretty much mad that I told him nobody's going to be holding or touching the baby without getting it so I guess he figures he's getting even with me by saying he can't get the blood work done and that my dog (who will be living in the same house as my child) can't be around the baby because the baby's going to want to play with it and it rolls around outside in the dirt.
