So I need your guys help. The dad to this baby didn't want to be here for 6months of the pregnancy and wants to be here now because he is changing and going to counseling. I told him he needs to prove himself that he wants to be here and be apart of our babies life. He's couldn't come to the appointment yesterday because he had training I told him that she is healthy and so am I. But what's getting me is that he never asked about my next appointment :( I don't know if he forgot I asked him. Maybe I am not emotional and scared still about letting him in. I just want him to try and be here as much as he can for her. I want her to know his voice before she comes out. Blah... I told him all of this.
I'm going throw the same thing with my baby girls daddy .. he said she wasn't his im now almost 7 months and he wants to be here ..I was told by so many different people that if he is gonna change and be there then you can't take father hood from him. everyday is very hard and some days I don't want him here for me but I know he's a good daddy. I hope everything works out for you.
@princevince, thank you so much that helps a lot I will be patient thank you so much
Even if he isn't making 100% effort the fact he's making any is great. Sometimes a man can't sympathize with a woman or how she feels. Maybe he forgot about the appointment. My husband barely came with me to mine because he worked but that doesn't mean he doesn't care. Your baby deserves to have both parents involved so the fact he's coming around is a huge deal. I know you're pregnant and emotional but just try to be patient with him. It's his baby too and your baby deserved all the love in the world. After he sees the baby everything changes.
My mom told my dad he better change or he will have nothing to do with me so he changed. She gave him a chance and let me see him when I pleased. If you are worried that things may change back to how they were before just make sure that he has no rights to the baby so then you can have the right to keep the baby away from him. If he has rights then you will have to fight him to keep her away from him.
@oct152015, I not looking for a relationship with him I want him to be here for her not me. Thank you so much you guys.
@lyds, thank you so much I will give him time so change :) ❤️
if you really feel like he's coming around because he really wants to be there for the baby & be apart of it's life I would let him do just that but if he doesn't want a relationship with you I wouldn't be bitter about it as long as he is there for his child & loves em & shows that he's trying that's all that should matter good luck Girl he probably just need some time
welcome! just know that even if he isn't going to be in her life u always will. and either way things turn out remember u can't make anyone do something they don't wanna do. but really I'm sure he needs time to change his way if that's what he really wants guys will be guys so just do ur best n that's all u can do. ❤
@oct152015, he hasn't said anything about that. Nor did I ask about that.
I'm sure it's hard. but do what u feel in ur heart is best. don't just do it cuz u want him to. he has to want it him self. give him some time to show u. I wish u nothing but luck!
Are yall going to be in a relationship too or just co-parenting?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

A Statement from Mom.Life:
Hey everyone!
Last night, a new user began messaging our moms asking for private pictures of toddlers and young children. This is obviously unacceptable behavior, and the account was banned immediately. Although thankfully extremely rare on Mom.Life, several users were understandably upset by this, so we wanted to clarify a few things:
First off, Mom.Life has an absolute zero tolerance policy for child abuse and those who would prey on children. We strive to ...
the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.
