Would I be wrong to keep my child's father from coming to the birth of his son and from being in his life. I don't care that we're not together because I chose this way but I'm so tired of his disrespect.
@mommytoprincessmckenzie, I don't want him there to sign the birth certificate for anything. not only the disrespect but he's a dope dealer and very abusive
That's how I feel, I don't want my BD involved at all. Just cause of the choices he makes, and everything be has done.
@sassymom619 maybe have him come closer to the end of it? or if he starts being disrespectful the nurses will ask him to wait in the waiting room or leave. You have all the choices during delivery. With my son we have to tell them certain people that aren't allowed there so they'll keep them away.
You don't have to have anyone in the room that you don't want but he can still come to the hospital
I don't want the drama or bs when I'm giving birth ... he's such an asshole and this will be my first labor ... I'd rather not chance it but I don't want to be a bitch either
If he's disrespectful then you're not wrong to keep him from being there when you give birth, but keeping him out of the child's life is different.
him seeing his child born might be the push he needs to change.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
TWW!!
2dpo and on the tww journey. Anyone on the same dpo or close? Haven't decided if I will test at 12dpo or just wait and see if she shows up!!
You don't have to have him there at all. With my first born I was in a very similar situation and I chose to not have him there. I was nervous and scared enough with it being my first time giving birth and I definitely wasn't going to have any unnecessary drama on top of that. I did call him after I got home from the hospital to let him know I had the baby.
