@mcmuffin1231, that is weird because they don’t put nothing in my iv or nothing after at least not my last birth but other ones I was induced with pitocin to make me go into labor
I’m pretty sure I’m aware of labor and delivery and how it works as I have multiple children
Everyone saying this and that but the thing is everything that is down on my pregnancy plan is everything that is okay with me that is down as I used a app to do this so 👌
1) you cannot have continuous fetal monitoring and only be monitored with a Doppler.
2) with an epidural you won’t be walking and you will be strapped to constant fetal monitoring
Your placenta comes out on it’s own “no drugs are given to make come out faster” you did give birth before right 3x according to the kids ages you posted , your birth plan is yours but, many things are OUT of ones control and the most important thing is your health and safety along with the baby
Some hospitals give pitocin right after delivery of baby to help the uterus start clamping down to deliver the placenta. So yes, there is medicine given in some cases that can "speed up" the delivery of the placenta. However, it is a 2 fold idea. The uterus clamping down helps with bleeding. So if it takes a while for the placenta to be delivered then bleeding might be heavier during that time period.
You are 5 minutes pregnant and already made your birth plan lol
Lmfao 😂😂 pregnant five minutes that’s the best thing I’ve heard all day as this is our 9th child I think it’s funny how all you moms think you’re so perfect and so quick to judge someone if you don’t have something nice to say keep it to yourself instead of worrying about putting someone else down on here like don’t you have something better to worry about besides judge other people
Smfh
@mrs.watkins4715, my comment in no way “put you down” or judged you first of all. I simply was saying you made a birth plan fast as hell if you know how to interpret things. Believe me if I wanted to put u down or anything or that sort there’s other shit I could’ve said 😉 calm tf down salty sally
Make sure you ask about filming. Some hospitals don’t allow it during delivery.
Will your Mom be in the delivery room?
My mom made it sound like she was gonna be in the delivery room when I give birth, and quite frankly, I would just like it to be me and my fiancé. It's our first, and I want to share that special moment with just him. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I know this is something she would really like to be a part of. So I feel bad telling her no.

Ladies I would like to introduce my babygirl. Came to the hospital and was having full blown contractions and doctor decided to operate me. My delivery was so painful I felt everything.

Has anyone had a low birth weight baby and then went on to have a "normal sized" baby after?
Like for instance... A 4 lb baby then a 8 lb baby.
🤔 I have questions lol
Birth Plan Rant
I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
And I’ve never been given pitocin after giving birth
