How can I get him to stop smoking. Baby will be here in 4 1/2 mos. He smokes in the car. He doesn't smoke inside or even outside because I talk crap but I always smell it on him. He has high blood pressure anyway and we're supposed to be getting healthier.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
Who else has financial issues within their relationship?? Or am I just lucky 🙄🙄 Not sure if I'm being just mean or what. But my SO used $160 from me this morning. I gave him my bank card because he needed $60 to get material for work. His boss was going to give it back to him at the end of the day. So instead of $60 he took out $160. Which I was a little pissed. (One of the reasons I just can't let him use my card. I have to go get the money from the atm myself if I'm giving it to him) then, tonight he asked for $20 incase his boss didn't give it to him. So I gave him my card not even thinking because I had kids running around me. I asked if he could pick up a few things that were out of and told him he could use my card if he has too. And I even told him not to get the expensive brands or anything m generic is fine. So he does. But when he does he decides to go Easter shopping for the kids. (Not sure if he used to my card or not) but if he did, I'd be even more pissed. He knows I have bills to pay on top of giving my son's school money that I owe them. He goes to a private school and I haven't paid in 5 months. It's towards the end of school now so I need to pay it. He knows this month I am extremely tight because of the school, im already in debt and my credit score sucks. I have been trying not to get in more debt and actually fix my credit. I'm so frustrated. It's like we have different priorities and different ideas on this. I feel like I'm completely drowning!!
Question. I just left my husband for cheating and now hes been harassing me. Hes threatening to come get our son. I dont care if he sees his son but I'm not comfortable with him leaving with him bc hes never taken care of him a day In his life and he might use him against me. Am I wrong for feeling this way??
My son just handed me this…. As an adult I made the decision not to get it and told him why I choose not to. Asked him if he knew anything about COVID or the vaccine and he said no all he knows it’s that it’s out there. At the end I asked him if he wants the vaccine I will sign the form if not we ignore it. He said no thank you 😊.

You cant help those who dont want to help themselves. My mom has been on my dad for years and no use. All you can do is keep your children away from that shit. Or you could try throwing an ultimatum, you and the kids or his cigarettes...but those hardly give you the results you want.

@vvrobinson I try to stay away from ultimatums. I used to smoke too so I know it's hard. But, he's not even trying. Everyday there are butts in the ashtray. He smokes to and from work in the car where our 3 yr old rides and the baby will ride. I'm irritated bc for years he's judged me for my choices and he's the same. Smelling smoke on him is tempting too.

He has to stop smoking in the car strictly because of laws and infant health. You can't force him to do anything though, sadly. You can fight him but he's going to have to get the discipline to drop it, himself.

@mhbb3 I don't know if it got passed everywhere as a law but you get in trouble for it here. There was rumor of it being passed all around but it didn't happen. Not sure of your area, but you could for sure call and check.

Only way he’ll stop is by making the choice on his own. Just be understanding with him, but also honest about your opinions. My husband still smokes, but he doesn’t in the car and won’t around the baby when he’s here. When he comes inside he immediately goes for the hand sanitizer because he knows the smell bothers me. He would like to quit, but hasn’t fully committed to it so I don’t put too much pressure on him because I know it will only deter him. Some states have made it illegal to smoke in the car with a minor present, but I’m not sure of the exact states. I would deff check into your states laws for that though
