Wondering what other moms has done to increase their iron levels without taking iron pills? I can’t do the iron pills they make extremely constipated.

Cook in a cast iron skillet! Lots of info on the web to back it up. I had to be on iron pills last pregnancy, took vitamins with iron, and they still were on me about my iron levels. This time I’m perfectly fine and the only difference is I cook meals in a cast iron skillet two to three times a week. It works!

Dark green leafy vegetables are key (Kale, spinach, etc.), peanuts, beans (soybeans or soybean derived foods are high in iron).

@__tera very welcome and I've not heard of that. I've been with my GI Dr's for 3 years now and they tell everyone water and fiber are key! Hope it helps love❤

Try increasing water and fiber intake. Fiber one bars help really well and a delicious or they have fiber gummies that are good too! That will help with constipation.
