My lo just turned 4 months a few days ago and hello also regression! I'm kind of surprised this is happening cause he has always woke up when I layed him down for a nap or bed time and he always just goes right back to sleep but that's our luck! I would like to try to Ferber method or "controlled comfort" method. He just rolled for the first time yesterday so I think I'm going to stick him in a sleep sack now too instead of swaddling. He also gets hot a sweats when he cries so i think a sleep sack would keep him cooler during this transition. Maybe I can get both transitions done in one since be doesn't jump himself awake now. He has been sleeping 7-9.5 hours for well over a month now so I know besides growth spurts, night feedings isn't usually necessary any more for him. Any tips that have worked for you guys? Any advice?

He hasn't wanted night feedings for almost 2months thought so I know he's only waking up cause he doesn't know how to get himself back to sleep ya know? And yes we have the halo sacks and I hope he likes them! He isn't swaddled at nap time so I think he should do okay with it at night as well:) thank you

I love the Halo sleep sacks, they cover the legs but let the arms be free. You can try unswaddling one arm at a time too. Night feedings are not necessary if he is gaining weight properly but most babies need them until close to a year. They aren't meant to sleep through the night until after a year, it's a defense mechanism. And personally I wouldn't do any type of sleep training, Ferber or otherwise until 6 months. They don't understand that until then. For now they are too tiny to comprehend it and cry when they need their mom. Good luck hun, it gets easier, I promise!
