You never realize how much of your family you don't like until you're planning a wedding. I'd rather not invite my dad's side of the family, but he'll be so hurt if I don't. They've been absent from my life since before I got pregnant and my daughter's almost 2. Nothing happened, they were invited to events and we reached out and they didn't respond. I'm sick of making the effort and getting my feelings hurt when they don't show.

Sometimes, being a mom is hard.

Dds dinner, a turkey and cheese quesadilla and some grapes

Dd's Lin and dinner for probably the next two days. I made way too much.

HELP clever and witty bb ladies

Tomorrow is dd's birthday party and I'm leaving out a guestbook for people to sign, and is like to place a little note on the table next to it encouraging people to write what their wishes for her future or some advice for her to read when she gets older, but all my creative juices were sucked out by the decorations.

Dd went down for a nap at 10am, wakes up at 11 burning up, lethargic, and tugging on her ears. 100.8 fever.
