I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
Baby won't bear weight on leg I have a walking 10 month old and she has been extra fussy yesterday and today. Today I noticed she didn't really want to crawl, she would just cry until I came and picked her up. After I fed her, I tried setting her down to play with her big sister and she just started crying and wouldn't put any weight on her left leg. She will put weight down on her right leg but then just cries until you pick her back up. I thought maybe she just didn't want to be put down (as baby's often do). I tried a few more times over the next 30 minutes and she still won't put any weight on it. I had a meeting (I work from home), so I took her upstairs to my husband. She is now playing with her siblings and happy, but he text me (from upstairs) and says she still won't put weight on it. She is just sitting there playing.
I love how I repeatedly told my father in law not to let my daughter root through the toy box because she doesn’t want anything out of it anyway and he keeps picking her up and taking her to the toy box no matter how many times I tell her no and tell him she doesn’t even want anything out of there anyway. At first I told him “only let her get one toy” so she picks one up and he is still holding her over the toy box then tries to put her over the baby gate so she can grab more. I’m sorry but you aren’t the one that has to pick up all these toys. You aren’t the one who has to put them back. He never picks up toys. Everyone wants to get the toys out for her out no one ever wants to help me pick them back up. The fact that I said not to let her get anything out of the box more than 5 times really pisses me off. You may be her grandparent but you aren’t her parent. So now I have mass toys to pic up on top of the toys she already had out from this morning
TWW!! 2dpo and on the tww journey. Anyone on the same dpo or close? Haven't decided if I will test at 12dpo or just wait and see if she shows up!!
This week has been the hardest week of my life! Ever since my 1 year old was born she’s always had an AMAZING sleep schedule. She would wake up once a night maybe two but it was rare. As she grew up she stopped waking up at all and would sleep her 9-10 hours straight. Well this week she’s been waking up 4 hours after her bedtime, crying and screaming. I rock her back to sleep but she’s like a ticking bomb, as soon as she feels me putting her on her crib she immediately wakes up crying. It’s taken me 3 hours every night to put her back to sleep and tonight has been so hard! I put her to sleep around 9pm woke up at 10p. She went back to sleep 30 minutes after and at 12:40a she woke up SCREAMING! I tried to put her back to sleep (since I’ve heard never to wake up a sleeping child) but the crying wouldn’t stop and I don’t mean normal crying it was the time of crying as if someone was torturing her. Obviously I just broke down crying😭😭 she’s never been like this before. It’s been so exhausting not only for me but also for her.

You could try a rock and play or a bassinet it makes them feel more cozy and most of them vibrate

Hmm. Sounds like my daughter when she's teething. Try creating a nest around her. Place blankets in a circle and her in the middle. Like a nest. She wants to feel comfort.

Hmm.. she may just not like sleeping on her back. It doesn't mean she does but some babies who have reflux don't like being on their backs but it's so frustrating cause that's the safest way. The only other thing I would know to do is to just talk to her doctor and see what they say. I'm sorry you're so tired!! I've been there

Have you tried colic and gas bottles? Also little remedies gas drops are good. I had to use those two with my daughter when she was a newborn. God, she screamed so much! I also laid her on her sides with small pillows in her front torsor and on her back so she could feel held. BUT I know doctors and people don't recommend that because it's not safe. I stopped doing it when I saw my daughter would move around on her own. After that I laid her on the rocker play thing.

@aliakr have you tried a heating pad on low before putting baby down, i used to have to put it in whereever i was going to put my son down. only for a few minutes then take it out and set him down, i figured out that the coldness would wake him up... or a glove with rice in it warmed up set on him so he thought it was my hand.

My daughter is the same way. During the day she'll nap maybe once unless I'm holding her. At night she won't sleep unless I'm holding her so I don't sleep unless I'm holding her. I'm so tired and miss sleeping with my husband. I'm usually on the chaise lounge sleeping with her in my arms. She could be out like a light and I gently lay her down and she's wide awake wanting me to hold her again. I've tried everything my bed lounger and bouncy imaginable

Something similar to this

I dunno how true this is or if it applies to older babies but I read that they fall into a light sleep at first and if they're moved in that time they will wake up but if you hold them for like 20 more mins after they fall asleep and then move them once they're in a deeper sleep they don't wake up that easy

My daughter was like this too. I ended up spending a lot of time letting her sleep on my chest just so that I could rest. But then I bought different sheets for her crib. They are almost like the minky baby blankets. Similar type of material. I bought mine at Target. It kept her bed from feeling cold when she was laid down or when she would scoot around throughout the night. She still didn't sleep all night or anything but it definitely helped.

My son was like that hun. I slept with him on my chest then i slowlh transitioned him sleeping right next to me. So now we cosleep. And he sleeps right next to me. He hates being on me now :( i miss it. It just takes time. My baby will now nap in the swing to. Lol. Just give it time and keep trying

I feel relieved that I'm not the only one who has to let her sleep on my chest... she won't sleep unless she's on my chest or right next to me with her head on my arm an me hugging her. I'm such a light sleeper so I trust myself to not squish her @princess_xox
