This is my baby after nursing...finally! I fed her a bottle, then tried nipple shield again and it didn't work. I finally took the bottle nipple and stuck it on my breast and it worked! Here's hoping it will keep working.

you may want to squeeze a bit milk out when you are offering breast, so she can taste it (my baby girl sometimes is going really mad and inpatient when she have to latch few times before she have smooth flow, it's hilarious and stressful in same time) also warm compress during breastfeeding may help (smoother and easier flow, she used to easy flow with bottle) good luck ☺
@scidg3, thanks. :) At first I had to give her a bit of bottle (not a full feed) because otherwise she was too mad to try breast. But just now I did as you suggested and gave her breast first. :D
I'm not sure if you are trying to get her to take bottle or breast. If breast, try nipple or nipple shield first then follow up with bottle. if you give bottle then breast she will fill up on bottle and then refuse breast. @kat616 just ignore if this has nothing to do with what you are trying. haha
@domena84, thanks! Yeah, I had to put some milk in the end of the nipple, and I'll have to try warm compress (if I can hold baby and do that at the same time, ha ha). :)
