Congrats! I lost a son too at 25 weeks pregnant and am expecting my rainbow in September. We were given a baby blanket for our loss baby too.
I would really encourage knitters and crocheters to join a site called Ravelry.com It is free and awesome with a billion patterns and groups to join on every subject from your favorite tv show to moms who have lost babies (HAPL) healing after pregnancy loss. You can find friends in your area, join knit alongs, post your finished projects, list your yarn and hooks or needles, it is such a fun and diverse site. There is lots of support there too. I'm just a member and nit affiliated in any other way. I just happen to love it lol!!!
Thank you! I really wanted to incorporate our son into the announcement somehow and I thought this was a great way to do that.
Oops! I forgot to tell my husband I was announcing today and people at work saw it and came up and congratulated him. ?
He didn't care. Just thought it was funny.
Thank you! I've still got a ways to go before I finish it up. Hoping to have it done in the next week and then moving into another.
Any knitters on here? I'm wondering if hats are difficult.
Thank you! I will also say that knitting has been very helpful for me this pregnancy. I get so anxious and stressed out and the knitting calms me down. When I just want this blanket done, or this baby here, this blanket reminds me that things take time. Patience. Care.
It's really been wonderful for me.
Thanks ladies!
Surprisingly we hadn't told many people. Just family, a few friends and a handful of work people.
You always make me cry!
I'm so happy for y'all! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Congrats! And happy and heathy 9 months to you love! ❤️?
