As for nipple cream, I would use an organic brand like bamboobies.

Everyone will have a different opinion, I personally didnt register for wipe warmer or diaper genie. My thought is if you go somewhere or put baby in daycare the wipes won't be warm and may upset the baby if you use regular wipes. Diaper genie you can use doggie bags or plastic shopping bags for smelly diapers. The bottle warmer I came with my breastfeeding kit but I don't think i would have registered if it didnt come with the kit.

I love my wipe warmer and I used the nipple cream for the first 2 weeks.

No, that's all luxury. You can sanitize the body's by boiling them in a pot. You don't need anything but Nipple pads, really so your not leaking all over the place. Diapers put them in two plastic bags then throw away. That helps with the smell. I also but a sheet for the fabric in there to help. Everything else such as warmers aren't really needed.

Not necessary but I like the idea of a wipe warmer. I'll give my baby that luxury lol. Imagine having freezing cold put on your little boy parts at 3 am! 😭 most baby products are just money makers.

Well I would get the diaper genie because it's a headache with a new baby trying to remove trash everyday & diapers do start to stink & I've even coated my nipples with breast milk & they were perfectly fine & the diaper genie does get nasty but it's easier than hauling poopy diapers out everyday when u can just disinfect it once a week, don't just let the diapers pile up for weeks to allow nets & other nastiness to happen

uh if you're breastfeeding I wouldn't recommend it because you gotta remember that goes in the baby's mouth... the hospital gives you plenty to last you until you don't need it anymore honestly

All these crazy websites and apps give you a list of craziness. Half of it you'll never use. It is all convenience stuff. Except the nipple cream. If that's all you have left you are good! Lol

My husband said he had a diaper genie for our son and that it as disgusting and he'll never use one again. And to warm my daughter's bottles up, I just put them in a cup of Warm water like the hospital told me to

Only one I think is a necessity is the diaper genie & that's only if you live in an apartment and can't remove the trash everyday

nipple cream if you're breastfeeding. it honestly saved my nipples. everything else is a luxury you don't need. but as far as the cream, the hospital gives you more than enough to last you those uncomfortable weeks and then some so... that's a no

if you plan on breastfeeding you should get 1 tube of nipple cream. you could get coconut oil instead there are so many other uses of coconut oil. after the first 2 to 4 weeks of breastfeeding you probably won't need nipple cream anymore

I don't have a diaper genie. I buy these small plastic bags from the dollar store that you put the diaper in which makes sure it doesn't stink. You don't need a sterilizer you can just boil it yourself. My son doesn't use his bottle warmer, he will eat his formula room temp.

No. I would recommend the nipple cream if you plan on breast feeding. Bottles you can wash by hand with regular dish soap. I never used a bottle warmer or diaper genie.

bottle warmer

Hey moms. It's necessary at daycare to have a bottle warmer. I put one on my registry, but if I'm gonna be a stay at home mom, is it necessary?

babybump_user I never even turned mine on.
babybump_user Loved both our bottle warmer and wipe warmer!
babybump_user I think it depends. I was always told not to get one bc it will spoil baby

Is having a bottle warmer a must have for the Newborn whether breastfeeding or formula . Is this one a good brand? Heard bottles shouldn't be warmed in the microwave. First time mom here.
