Tell me if I'm wrong here. My husband's sil has covid. She's obviously quarantining in her house but is still loving on her kids and husband. I'm sorry but if I had it I would lock myself in a room. She hasn't gotten her kids tested... they're obviously doing the whole remote learning and quarantining for two weeks but she plans to send them back without testing them on the Monday after Thanksgiving 😬😱. My husband thinks I'm overreacting but I told him I don't want to see them on Christmas. I'm in the middle of iui cycles and don't want to risk this. Besides I don't think I could sit in a room with her knowing how irresponsible she has been not only with her family's health but those that are coming into contact with her and her family.
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
FTM problems... So I've made it pretty clear that I want to buy my daughter her fist Halloween costume. Her babysitter/nanny keeps saying she wanted to make her one. I told her yesterday that I wanted to find her something that my SO and I could dress up as a family. So I told her I am going to get it. She just text me and said 'not trying to step on your toes but I bought her two costumes'. She does this all the time. Anytime I want to do the "first" things with her she immediately does it. It's making me sad. Like I wish I could quit my job and be home with her.
is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
I hate doing this to her but I really don't want her to suck her fingers. She sucks the middle and index finger. She refuses any pacifier I give her. She already has one tooth at the bottom and I don't want her to be sucking them when the top ones come in. The doctor said it's a phase and it'll pass but I'm afraid she won't and spoil her teeth. Did any of your kids just stopped by themselves or did you have to do this?

I was told by the consultant that sometimes they give the same cues when they want to lay on you mr chest so try that

@mookie1, thank you! she does all the time but I'm worried cuz she needs to eat. I think I'm worrying over everything bc the nurses at the hospital made all these rules to follow and since Ana isn't cooperating with most of them i get worried

You're welcome and at first I thought my daughter wasn't getting anything but they said she should produce a diaper for every day basically during the first few days- week and she was so maybe count her diapers. How is her latch? You can ask to speak to the lactation consultant

@mookie1, her latch isn't good. My nipple doesn't go far enough in her mouth so I'm pumping from now on and using formula until tomorrow's appointment with the doctor to see if she's back up to health and eating enough

You can get a nipple shield, that'll help

@mookie1, it's too long for my nipple. She only sucks on the clear part and my colostrum never came out

the point of the nipple shield is to give baby more to latch onto... your nipple can just be barely in but when baby suckles it will draw the nipple out to her.
