yes, you should always replace a car seat after its been in an accident. There cod be underlying damage to it that you cannot see.

You are correct, once the car seat has seen an accident, whether it was visibly "damaged" or not it needs to be replaced because it could possibly be structually compromised without anyone even knowing, then next time (god forbid there's a next time) there's an accident it could fail to keep your lil one safe....

I don't think it was damaged I haven't seen it yet it's still at the yard. but don't they say if the car seat is in an accident even if the baby isn't in it you have to replace it

Check the manual on it. Mine says that if its in any wreck it has to be replaced

Was it damaged? If it was damaged I would say yes but if it wasn't there would be no need for a new one
