So...baby has Jaundice 😔 I had Jaundice really bad when I was born so I know he will be okay, HOWEVER , they are recommending I start using formula as a supplement. I really don't want to and I've been doing sooo well with breast feeding, but his health is important to me. I'm not sure what to decide to do.

same thing happened to me... i started supplementing with formula and once she got out the hospital and i went to the pediatrician and got her tested again to see that her numbers wasn't rising...and then I stopped the formula and continued breastfeeding.
this is completely up to you mama! I've seen many of babies not supplement and where perfectly fine after a day or 2 under the light or the blanket... here is a website to help you out a little ссылка
@mommy529, yes I cried all morning and felt like it was my fault . I am giving him formula and keeping him under the light but still breast feeding too. It just sucks that they are keeping him a few days. His pediatrician said he could come home but the hospital said no.
