trying manual breast pump for the 1st time & I can't help but feel like a total wuss :'( it hurts so bad & I'm making sure I'm doing it right but the pressure from it hurts any advice from you breastfeeding expert mommas?
Try using coconut oil or nipple creams to help your nipple to slide easier it worked for me may help you
check the size of the flange. the same happened to me. mine came with a size small & it waa causing my nipples to rub when i was pumping causing pain. once i switched to a medium the pain went away & i started pumping more.
This was my favorite pump for a while. You control the suction so you can do it lightly. Your flanges may not be the right size.
oh absolutely feels like a ton of weight gone. I use to have to do it at work in the sink because they would let me pump at work if I was not on break. And the bathroom was in my bosses office : (
right now my breasts aren't engorged probably thats why they hurt... cuz when they are I do hand expression & feels much better like a weight has been lifted @mybabyloves
The manual pumps hurt me as well. I'm sticking to the electric ones I have
