Mothers to have had a c section or gonna have a c section at what week do they make them ?

Mine so far have been scheduled two weeks early but this is my last and I've never made to those dates before my water broke we shall see

it really depends why you're having the c section. If ita for medical reasons your doctor will schedule it when he feels your baby will be ready and if its because he thinks your baby won't come on its own maybe 39 to 40 weeks or they will induce you. I had one at 38 weeks due to medical reasons (emergency) after a failed induction.

Cause my dr if I have a c section his planning to do it like 4 days away from my due date and I've never heard that , c section would be April 5th and my due date is April 9th @chichi1975

my sister had an emergency one BC she was induced and in labor for four days and then second baby was a csection at 39 weeks.

Okay I've just never heard of have a c section 4 days before your due date that's why I'm asking @nichole_lynn

he wont induce you? I've heard of women choosing to have them done but I've also heard lots of doctors try to avoid them unless medically needed or you've had past c sections. @mommy42_

I've had two normal one before but with this pregnancy I found I had a cyst on my ovary so that's why maybe the c section is gonna happen @nichole_lynn

my obgyn scheduled mine a week before my due date but I'm seeing a specialist so it could end up being sooner, double checking with her at my next appt.

Well that's the thing my dr idk he doesn't give me the right info and stuff like I told him to let just go with the c section and he said I still had time to think about like aren't you suppose to know what's better for me @nichole_lynn but thanks
