I don't want an epidural but I don't know if I can handle the pain and childbirth videos don't help.

childbirth videos don't do the actual birth any justice I was 17 when I had my daughter without any pain medications

that's what I'm aiming for, but if he gets stuck or something imma feel them cut me and everything else

like cut you for a c section or cut u during natural cause i was told alot of times anymore they won't cut you they will just let you tear and sew you up afterward I've tore with both my babies its really not that bad they numb you before they see you

I wanted an epidural so bad, but my labor was entirely too quick to even get one. It went very smoothly & if the baby gets stuck or anything they'll just let you tear. I just had my baby on Sunday.

With my first one I didn't hoping not to this one either. The only pain med i had was a demeral shot in my iv.

@jjmom12345678, oh they still cut. trust me. my OB cut me twice. and told me I better of been praising God I chose to get the epidural. After birth they take it out of your back. ... mine was so bad she told the nurses to keep it in until it ran out the next day. so maybe that's something you should ask about because once it wore off. .. jesus... @rylansmomma

I'm Going all natural this round but have been studying Hypnobirthing and their techniques. My Dr. has been great and right on board with the process and himself and the office works for are actually trying to get away from cutting unless it's obvious you're going to tear really bad but our bodies are made and designed to give birth naturally. I know in some hospitals you can ask for other pain meds besides an epidural. Whatever you decide or choose just know it's all hard work and rewarding once your little bundle is in your arms. good luck momma

A lot of women can do it without but contractions r the worst pain you will ever feel in life. Of course with some moms it hurts way worse than others but im just saying if u get an epidural we all understand lol

I tried for my two boys but towards the end I couldn't rake the pain anymore and they told me it was the last chance for me to get the epidural and so I did. wasn't bad and it helped soooo much

I was thinking of a water birth but my family wants to be there, and they can't all pile into a hospital bathroom with me, I'm scared to death that I'm gonna jerk or something while they put the epidural in. I'm gonna try as hard as I can to go without one, but I'm gonna still have the option

I tried to go without the epidural my if hurt so bad the nurse just kept saying honey just have the epidural it's ok just take it and I gave in and got one and it felt amazing! didn't feel anything not even when I tore so giving birth to my son was painless.
