Always! I couldn't remember my last period so it didn't matter, I only went by there's. Haha. I didn't realize I had missed my period so I only had a range cause for some reason the past few months I didn't track it. 😁

I would go by them, cause our bodies can do weird things, they will also go by theirs (which isn't usually far off). They measure and make sure. Also at your anatomy scan they will measure the baby again and confirm the due date they gave you!

@hermommy, then I'd just go off of the due date that it gives you. Doctors tend to go off of size before period, which is confusing.

I knew the date of my last period and went off of it and calculated my own due date and my son was born exactly when the due date said. Jan 27th 2015. If you know your last period date then you should go off of it, but if you don't know for sure then I'd just go off of the doctor.

I want my son June so my daughter has her own month lol!! with my daughter I had several dates she wasn't born on any of them

That is if your period was on October 10. Like for me my last period was on December 25 2015 my daughter was conceived around Jan 10-19 2015 found out I was pregnant at the end of January and they gave me the due date of October 3,2015 but surprise she came early on Sept 19 2015 full term

by my last period I'm due may 31 but my quack of a Dr said 5-8 of june

My dr said that my baby is behind on my due date by 4 days but didnt want to change the due date from june 19th and they are hoping that baby boy stays at that date.

it's all a guessing game really my Dr gave me a few dates from my last period

From the date of your last period it takes about 2 weeks for the baby to implanting in your uterus so even through you think your farther along your not plus they go off of the length of the baby when they do your first ultrasounds but it's just an estimate of your due date. You can go on the Internet and find out when the baby was conceived as well as your EDD (estimated due date )
