23 year old mommy to an amazing little boy. I have never loved anyone like him. I love being a mommy even though it is hard sometimes. I am currently battling post partum due to not being able to breastfeed and for the fact I failed at pumping and dried up. I wouldnt trade my son for anything in the world even though hes a clingy bug.

I have a question for those who got on medicaid while pregnant. After having your child did they drop you from actual medicaid and put you on a family planning insurance without warning? I just got a letter in the mail for it and I am confused to why I was dropped without any warning. I have a doctors appointment Thursday for PPD and can not afford to pay out of pocket. I am beyond broke. I barely make enough for my bills so how do they expect me to see a doctor for PPD?

My lovie! Hes 14lbs and 24.5inches as of august 8th. I need to find out his weight and height now. Hes so much bigger than othrr 2 month olds. Every asks if hes 4-5 months.

Has any new mommies passed blood clots during their first real period(not the blood that comes after having baby.)? I passed a clot about the size of a half dollar coin. My mom says she still gets clots to this day but I an curious if anyone else is.

My son is about to be 2 months old and hes all ready 13.15 lbs and 24.5 inches. My friends 5 month old is the same size almost shes just a few ounces bigger. My son is chunky but so loved. His dr said I am over feeding him by giving him 6ounces 2x a day when he gets 4oz for all of his other feedings. My son sleeps from 4-7 hrs depending on when we put him down for the night. Hes allready at one feeding in the middle of the night. Hes growing up way to fast. :/

My son is 7 weeks old and has just had his first real laugh. Me and my fiance were both talking to him and his started smiling so big then he full on laughed! :D

Anyone want some pampers coupons and anyone local want some enfimal formula? I have ready to use and 4oz packets. Its the gentlease. I also have half a can too but I doubt anyone would want it. I switched my son to up&up; sensitivity formula.

My son came home yesterday afternoon. :) I am so happy that they let us go yesterday instead of today like they were trying to do even though all the tests were negative for any bacteria or virus infections. Yet they had him on antibiotics for over 48hrs for nothing.

My bug still has no fever and we are still in the hospital waiting on the second smear from the lumbar puncture to be checked to make sure there is no infection. They just did a heel poke on bug and I almost passed out. I got super dizzy and felt the blood rushing to my head. I had tunnel vision and started to lose my hearing but I sat down and drank some water and started to feel better but I dont trust myself to pick him up. My back is acting up bad also so I cant hold him long anyways without...

Hospital bound with my son all because of a fever of 100.9 that was over 24hrs ago and has not returned since. I hate that hes getting poked by needles and messed with. We got told that we might not be leaving for another 3 days. I am not ok with this. The er nurses were horrible and my son is bruised from them fighting him and holding him down to draw blood. The pediactric nursebwas able to poke his foot without waking him and get the blood on the first try. I just want to take my bug home.

In two days my son will be one month exactly...... Where did my newborn baby go? Hes now over 9lbs and 22inches long. I know its not much but to me its like hes gained a lot of weight in the month hes been here. I just want time to slow the hell down..... :(
