What is it about "my baby is breastfed" that is so hard for my in-laws to understand?? He keeps telling me I should go get a day job since my fiancé works nights. Neither of them seem to grasp the concept of a breastfed baby. She cannot go more than 3 hours without me, ESPECIALLY during the day when she is awake most of the time!!! She does NOT take bottles, never has, and I am not going to just let her starve for hours while I'm gone and force her to drink from a bottle when she HATES it! This is just so frustrating...I'm tired of them coming at me like this trying to hint at and straight up telling me I need to go back to work. It's not their choice! It's our choice as parents and I've even told my fiancé fuck it I'll go back to work and he talks me out of it every time because he knows how important it is for me to continue to breastfeed, and he knows and loves the benefits that our lil girl gets from it. He supports me 100%, so why can't they mind their own business??
