So mt daughter is three days old and I already feel like the worst mother in the world. She wouldn't sleep last night and I fell asleep with her next to me on the bed. I woke up to her screaming from the floor. I picked her up, woke her dad up and went straight to the hospital. She is perfectly fine but I'm not. I've been crying since it happened. I feel so horrible :'( I can't believe I let that happen.

@queendavis, crazy, I never worried at that age… dang I really never knew that would be a worry 😨, I dropped my DD when she was a newborn (not very far)
@b3autifulm3ss, my daughter was kind of on her side at the time when she fell off the couch and that's how she ended up rolling....she wasn't even able to roll yet but it just happened! It's possible
Girl, it happens. My son has rolled off the bed and my daughter has fell off the couch, both as newborns! I felt like SHIT afterwards for a while, which is to be expected....and feeling like shit about it means that you're a GOOD MOM! If you were just like "whatever it isn't a big deal" that would make you a shitty mom. But you're concerned and worried and that's a good thing! I seriously promise you though it happens to everyone at least once! Just try to chill out and not think about it so much, and go give your baby some extra cuddles. Soon enough you won't even be thinking about this! And the best part is that your baby is perfectly fine 😊

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
a bad mom would leave the baby on the floor. you obviously feel like shit and took her to the hospital. you're not a bad mom hun. when my son was a newborn I was giving him a bath in the sink & I picked him up and he hit his head on the counter top. I was screaming and crying running around with him in my hands! shit happens. I heard so many similar stories about newborns rolling off the bed so that's why I personally never did it but maybe you should just keep her in the bassinet just In case you fall asleep. we tend to do that cause were tired.
