Yeah I understand what everyone is saying. But, he's just a grade A butt hole. I had to pay lots of bills last week, because I fell behind. I asked to borrow money for groceries. He said he was broke yet, went to the casino the same night. When I mentioned it he said it's not my responsibility to feed you. It's true yet he wanted to have this baby. I'm 33 and this will be my first... he's making this the worse experience possible so far. I asked him not to tell everyone I was pregnant, because I recently had two miscarriages... he told all of his family...I'm just having a hard time with him...and he was much better when I wasn't pregnant.

One thing with boys is they take alot longer to come around to the idea. My boyfriend was super excited then the last months he's been really distant and it literally felt like we were about to break up then I finally asked him what was wrong snd he said he's starting to get nervous the closer we get. He's better now though. He could just be scared and trying to not show it or he really might not be happy. Talk to him about it and see what he says, if he's still being like that then do what you think is best for you because I'll tell ya now stress isn't good with a baby at all. I hope everything gets better!

Not all men are mushy like that, especially if they have gone through it before. My man was like that, his first baby to. He only went to appointments where it was something serious, like my level 2 ultrasound, otherwise he never came, he never rubbed my belly, he didnt really talk about the baby or anything, hes just not that way, but when the baby came I could see thr joy and happiness in his face and he has been an amazing father

I wouldn't get too worked up about it. Through 3 pregnancies, my husband has been to two appointments - the ultrasounds of the first 2 (he was not able to get off work this time). He never spent a lot of time talking to and rubbing my belly during any of them, but he was still excited and loves our children more than anything.
